The only bogles list that I've seen updated in awhile. Thoughts on Once Upon a Time? I know that it's not an enchantment but it helps dig 5 more to find a creature when the hand is full of gas but it also sucks late game. I don't know if it's worth testing. Maybe if we were still pre-London Mull this would be better? I don't know. I just want someone else's opinion on this card.

I have not tested it yet, as I am still trying to trade for the full playset. In theory, I dislike its opportunity cost. We can't shave enchantments for it. Is it worth dropping Kor Spiritdancer? I think not. This Bogles list is updated every time a new set comes out or the meta shifts in a meaningful way. If you wish to discuss Bogles' placement or deck choices, this is most definitely the place to do it.

Awesome! I'll keep this page bookmarked and check up on it every now and then. I have the older list just been waiting for the best spot to play it. I don't think its right now with Valakut/Titan being the biggest deck atm and them having the shift to do Field stuff is so busted.

Cybird13 Are you playing it online or at your LGS? What is YOUR meta like?

Glad to see someone else working on Bogles in 2020! I'll be keeping an eye on this page. I've been testing Sentinel's Eyes from TBD and I feel like it has a place in our deck but I'm not 100% sure yet. Also, I run two Hushbringers in the board which does well against Amulet Titan (stops the Titan's and Rec Sage's etb) and Dredge (slows their deck considerably and keeps their Amalgams in the yard).

ronald_ I want to like Sentinel's Eyes, but I also don't want to cut an Umbra or All That Glitters for it. My problem with Hushbringer is that it does nothing if Primeval Titan is already on the field. I think I would much rather let them grab two lands and Path it. Alternatively you could even bring in Force of Vigor and answer their Amulets and Dryad of the Ilysian Grove whilst being tapped out.

Good points overall. Thanks for the response. I still have to test more with both cards. I'm also torn about Leyline in the main in the current meta but I can't bring myself to take it out. T1 Thoughtseize on the draw can wreck us so easily.

ronald_ I would like to hear the results of your testing. As for the Leylines, I think that definitely deserve a spot in our deck right now. It's relevant against Mono Red Blitz, Amulet Titan's Valakut, Jund's Thoughtseize and Liliana, and Grixis Shadow's Thoughtseize and Kolaghan's Command.

I like Season of Growth in place of Kor Spiritdancer because it also gives scry 1 with your extra bogles. Also, with the current meta Kor Spiritdancer gets removed a lot. You have less creatures now but it has worked well for me in playtesting.

seanfireball2 It isn't a bad idea, although I enjoy the game that Kor Spiritdancer plays. Decks side out their Fatal Pushes and Paths in game two against Bogles. Kor Spiritdancer is fairly free after game one.

Hey man! Awesome deck. I run a Bant Bogles deck, here for reference. I like having a small splash of blue for some extra variety in the enchantments, and Stubborn Denial is very handy for that early game Chalice of the Void, among other things. I'm trying out Mana Tithe right now, though, just to give it a shot.

Any thoughts?

mistarilledawn I would like to hear your thoughts on the split between Invisible Stalker and Kor Spiritdancer.

May 7, 2020 11:09 p.m.

The Invisible Stalkers are honestly just filler right now; when I took the two copies of Once Upon a Time I was running out of the mainboard, I just tossed them in from where I'd had them in the sideboard to fill some space. I do kinda like them, but I'm thinking I'll take them out for another Umbra and another Spiritdancer. For now they're kinda just chillin.

Or, honestly, I might just replace them with two Suppression Fields. I hadn't thought about that card before, and I'm liking the looks of it.

Mainboard Suppression Field does serious work in a meta full of Lurrus Mishra's Bauble. It's also great against Jund.
