This deck is designed around Assault Formation with assistance from Ensnaring Bridge.Ensnaring Bridge works the way I thought it did, if you have 0 cards in hand,Assault Formation and Ensnaring Bridge on the battlefield, your cards will be able to attack but your opponents will not be able to until they remove ensnaring bridge from the battlefield! That means you can swing for full force every combat and not have to worry about holding cards back for blockers! Ensnaring Bridge only checks the cards power, not what it will assign as combat damage due to Assault Formation. This deck also has the ability to remove pesky spells from ever hitting the battlefield thanks to Condescend while keeping control over the cards you pull via Brainstorm and bringing back cards that may have been dispatched with
Nature's Spiral
.I was very happy to finally have a deck to put
Traproot Kami
into, it is a card with limited functionality but in this deck it actually shines the longer the game goes on (especially if your opponent is also playing green)
Skinshifter is the swiss army knife of this deck, if you have Assault Formation on the field you can swing it for 8, if you don't have it on the field yet you can still swing for 4 trample or 2 flying.
I am still looking for viable sideboard cards, maybe Simic Charm?
01/03/16- Scute Mob has been replaced with Monastary flock. These can be used to keep modern format although Wall of Blossoms are a better choice imo, but would need to be reprinted to be a viable modern option.
01/05/16- Axebane Guardian may be a decent replacement for Monastery Flock while we lose flying and morph we gain more mana gain. I still need to playtest it to see if its viable or overbearing since we already have mana draw/gain from Sylvan Caryatid and
Gatecreeper Vine

02/12/16- Added a selection of cards to the sideboard, some may make the mainboard. A third Ensnaring Bridge was placed on the side board to help the deck contend with the eldrazi swarm. I think this deck may be viable to battle against the eldrazi.side board also added in cards to tap lands and creatures to stall your opponents progress.
