Maybe some Remand to give you a way to interact with the opponent? I like it though, +1

I've removed Isamaru, Hound of Konda and a copy of Serum Visions and added two Remand .. Maybe I should find room also for the third, but I don't know how.

If you're in blue it might be useful to side Spell Pierce to help with some threats that can be countered by it.

You seem to have too many creatures for this to be a W/U boggles type of deck, but there is too many enchantments for it to be a W/U beater/value creature deck, I'm not too sure what's going on with it but it still looks pretty solid, I'd take a look at popular aggro/control decks that run Geist for more ideas.

Just a thought, good luck with the deck :) it's looking pretty good.

thank you so much, I really appreciate these kind of comments! About Spell Pierce , I think I'll put in 2 copied into the sideboard, removing 2 Oppressive Rays

You're welcome :)Second advice block inc:

Personally I feel that Shielding Plax and Hero of Iroas . I'd try to slide a Elspeth, Knight-Errant or two in there, I actually rather her to Ajani, Caller of the Pride

Remand is one of the better modern counter spells, it stops whatever your opponent is tapping out for on the turn, it lets you draw which helps you find your better creatures/enchantments.

Journey to Nowhere and Oblivion Ring are close enough to removal while counting as enchantments for your Ethereal Armor . I'm not sure about how they will run in your deck.

Circle of Protection: 'Insert color you'll have issues dealing with' can be a handy sideboard card if the situation comes to it.

I'd also drop Cranial Archive because it just seems to be lacking, it works against strats that rely on their graveyard as you can shuffle it away while getting a draw out of it but there is just better cards.

Dryad Militant can be alright against decks that are running Treasure Cruise and/or Snapcaster Mage it also stops spells with flashback. I'm not sure how good it is in those matchups, just speculating.

Maybe you could find use for Aura Finesse it lets you draw as well as moving aura's about. For example if you're attacking with 2 creatures, one has spirit mantle so creatures can't be assigned to block it if they block the unenchanted creature then you can in theory move the spirit mantle to your blocked creature to avoid the damage dealt to it (Proc creatures is too good). and maybe even just get a one for nothing. It also draws you a new card which is super useful.

Not sure what you think of Brave the Elements it can help but if you're running blue then it won't always cover all your creatures.

Daybreak Coronet is easily the best aura when you've got an aura based deck because of just how much value it gives you. (+3+3, lifelink, first strike and vigilance, f*ck yeah :D )

Serum Visions Awesome card in blue, helps you dig, not 100% sure how good it is in this deck, just playtest and see what you think. :)

Soldier of the Pantheon is awesome against so many decks, personally I love him, don't know if he's any good in the current meta with things like jund falling in popularity.

You kinda lack affinity hate, things like Stony Silence and Kataki, War's Wage work wonders against affinity. (I play affinity and scooped when my friend turn 2'd a stony followed by turn 3 Kataki)

Ohh my, just noticed how much I wrote, sorry, hopefully it isn't too long. :P

It's not too long, it's appreciated :)

I'm gonna follow some of your tips, for example I'll put Journey to Nowhere into my sideboard, removing Cranial Archive . I think I'll find room also for Dryad Militant cause she's actually really nice and I should do the same also for Stony Silence and Kataki, War's Wage .

I didn't understand if you like or not Shielding Plax and Hero of Iroas , I'm sorry, english is not my first language, maybe it is my fault.

About Circle of Protection I don't know, I should put at least one per colour, and maybe the most important is the one against artifacts, in order to fight Affinity..

I really really love Remand , but I must give up on something, maybe I should play less enchantments or creatures for more control, but I prefered to be fast until now.. I'll see playin the deck.

Aura Finesse is a new card for me, never seen it, that could be interesting.

Thank you again for your comments, you are one of those that make me think that it is worthy to upload my decks (check also the others if you want) here on tappedout.

I forgot Elspeth, Knight-Errant : she's amazing, but the reason why I use Ajani, Caller of the Pride is because he costs one mana less and this helps me playing in a fast aggro way.

for example: if I got a Geist of Saint Traft onto the battlefield on my third turn, during my 4th turn I could enchant him with Hyena Umbra and I could also play Ajani, Caller of the Pride to use his second ability on Geist, having a 3/3 creature with hexproof, a totem armor, flying and double strike, plus the 4/4 Angel.

For this reason I would also put another copy of Ajani..

I think Shielding Plax doesn't do much as you have hexproof creatures anyway.

Hero of Iroas seems to be a little lacking in power, the ability is good but I don't think he'd be great in game.

Remand is almost like Time Walk if your opponent taps out for something, it's pretty amazing while letting you draw, and it's super quick. If you use it against anything like a Scapeshift deck then you can set them pretty far behind as they won't have the mana to keep up Cryptic Command + Scapeshift

If you play Elspeth not Ajani then you don't need to rely on getting an aura to make Geist of Saint Traft stronger, Elspeth would make him a 5/5 flyer with the angel, so you'd be coming at them for 9 by using less cards, she seems a good curve topper.

Zur-En-Arrh says... #12

and what do you think I could play instead of Hero of Iroas ?

I absolutely must find place for Remand

Just play about with cards you might like and think what else you could run that'd be better or what else you'd rather, only the playtesting will tell. :)

It took me a while to realize Elspeth, Knight-Errant grants all those abilities as her second plus...I'm having a hard time figuring out why nobody plays her now lol. I've seen plenty of Pod, Delver, Treasure Cruise and Smallpox decks but nobody has touched her at my shop and she's awesome. I can understand wanting to play more cards turn 4 though. Tough choice.

Zur-En-Arrh says... #17

kengiczar yes, shes' amazing, it's just for that 1 less in the cmc that I chose Ajani, Caller of the Pride over her.

All I've got to say here is that you probably need a bit more draw. So I'd just drop Grand Arbiter Augustin IV for one more Dig Through Time. Also, a single AEtherling either mainboard or in the side. Aetherling is just too good for every blue deck ever.

Kjartan says... #20

shawncarter7342 Yea, Augustin is a really weak card, another singleton of any card already in the the deck would make it that much stronger, he needs to go out for one thing or another, and Dig Through Time is not a bad idea.

Drop an island for Oboro, Palace in the Clouds

December 23, 2014 3:10 a.m.

Zur-En-Arrh says... #22

shawncarter7342 Kjartanu Thanks for the suggestions guys, I removed Grand Arbiter Augustin IV and I added a Dig Through Time, then I've put a copy of AEtherling in the sideboard.

kiy251 I'm not sure about Oboro, Palace in the Clouds, I already have two legendary lands, I've got 2 Seachrome Coast, 4 Glacial Fortress, 1 Adarkar Wastes and 1 Celestial Colonnade, plus 2 fetches and only 4 Islands and 2 Hallowed Fountain. I don't want to remove any of these cards because I already have them and I fear that adding another non basic land would be risky. Anyway I'll think about it, thank you too for the suggestion.

Mana Leak over Rune Snag. Other than generally being a better card, it just works better with delve abilities.

What do you think of the Invisible Stalker ?

January 19, 2015 4:57 a.m.

Zur-En-Arrh says... #25

I think he is really nice, I also got 3 of them, but I really don't know what to put out for, I like the balance between auras, creatures (that give me also draw power) and control.
