Have you thought of Render Silent? Also, you may want to run two Brimaz, King of Oreskos instead of one Daxos of Meletis, since he dies to everything under the sun. Speaking of killing things, if you're running Path to Exile main, then you will want to back it up with a Supreme Verdict. That's my two sents.

Capm_Awesome First of all, thank you so much for the +1 and for the good comment. Your advices are really appreciated.
Render Silent is a very good card, but I'm afraid of its mana cost. About Daxos of Meletis you are totally right, he's weak, but I love his ability and I already own him. I like to play him when there's alreay a Hero's Blade on the ground, so that he becomes tougher, even if it's true that he can be burned by a simple Shock before the blade is attached to him. On the other hand, Supreme Verdict is just dope, so I'm going to find a place for it.

You're welcome! Unfortunately, you are going to be missing a lot without old Snapcaster Mage. I was lucky enough to pick up mine when they were half their current price. You can get along without Cryptic Command, but, if you are serious about playing modern, you will have to, one day, get your play-set. One more suggestion, try Hallowed Burial or Terminus for your sideboard instead of Wrath of God. It will solve a lot more problems that you cannot deal with main-deck.

Where are those lovely Snapcaster Mages? Also you are going for the super control game, why running subpar counterspells like Rune Snag when you have the tools to play Cryptic Command. You also lack lifegain and thus i expect your matchup against burn to be quite unfortunate - i ultimately suggest to add atleast 2 copies of Timely Reinforcements to your sideboard to improve that matchup. On a sidenote, while i understand your basic gameplan utilizing Silence and similar effects to stop your opponent from resolving spells, i feel like playing those cards you do not generate an advantage because they don't draw you cards and Cryptic Command just seems so much better literally doing the same.

k1rbz I understand all of your suggestions, and I also appreciate 'em, but both Snapcaster Mage and Cryptic Command cost too much money for me. I wish I could get my hands on them, but I probably won't. In this list there are other cards that can be considered expensive, but I already have them, apart from Narset Transcendent. However, I'll add Timely Reinforcements to my sideboard. Thank you so much.

Oh, i did not know you were on a tight budget, i bought them before they literally doubled in price :/However there are other cards that might improve your list a bit, i literally always autoinclude a pair of Calciform Pools and Sphinx's Revelation in UW lists.Restoration Angel has nice synergy with Geist of Saint Traft and i think you would almost always prefer to play Gideon Jura instead of Dragonloard Ojutai.Elspeth, Sun's Champion is also one of the better cards for UW control as she creates chump blockers while still being a quite decent win condition, just throwing around some suggestions here ;)

thanks again for the comment k1rbz and wow, I didn't know Calciform Pools, it's amazing with Sphinx's Revelation, but maybe also with Condescend, what do you think about this counter?
Restoration Angel and Elspeth, Sun's Champion are great cards, I will consider them, while I added a copy of Gideon Jura, in order to increase the number of my wincoins.

I feel that some Spellskite would be good to prtect your Myth Realized from Abrupt Decay, or if you are on a bit of a budget you could go for Redirect as yoou seem to be a draw go kind of deck, like the deck though

Zur-En-Arrh says... #11
branston567 thanks for the advice, actually I'd go with Redirect, because I've already spent a lot of money to get the last cards I needed for this list. Anyway in the future I'll try to put my hands on the amazing Spellskite, the problem is that I really don't know what to remove.

maybe Steel of the Godhead as you only have 3 permanent creatures, although i do like the synergy it can have with Celestial Colonnade and Geist of Saint Traft i feel that it may not be what your deck is trying to do

Zur-En-Arrh says... #13
That's what I was thinking too. The only thing is that Steel of the Godhead is something unexpected from the majority of players, because it is not played and it really kills games. but it can also be a dead draw in a lot of situations, so I will probably do as you suggest. I think I will also remove a Gitaxian Probe for the fourth Remand. Anyway, thank you again!

I just got my hands on my Myth Realized's today after playtesting them for the last week and oh boy, this card is so good in the right shell, i'm glad you added it aswell and hope you will enjoy it as i do..even tho i'm playing it in the esper shell because i think it's stronger atm but it's also way more expensive so that's okayWith Myth Realized and UW control you usually want to play the draw, drop land, GO plan so i would suggest removing the Gitaxian Probe for Think Twice because you get 2 lore counter out of it, it's instant and wouldn't you rather draw a card at the end of your opponents turn with flashback mechanics instead of paying 3 for just one lore counter? Also you might consider Anticipate instead of Telling Time, i personally think it's better, i mean let's face the facts: How often did you feel like 'God, i want atleast 2 of them' revealed by telling time? Anticipate does not screw your next draw if you can't find your answer and you don't have Snapcasters so the graveyard ditch of telling time is no plus.

Zur-En-Arrh says... #15
yeah, Myth Realized is just a sick card, I'm already lovin it.
I used to play Think Twice, it's amazing, but I'm not sure it is better than Gitaxian Probe since I can play it for 2 life points and it lets me see opponent's hand. I could come back to play a single copy of Telepathy and 2 of Think Twice.
About Telling Time you're right, it almost never happens that 2 of the 3 revealed cards are useful, I will test Anticipate.
Anyway, thank you very much for the tips!

What you guys think of Jace Beleren?
Cause I'd like to play it but I'm not sure he would fit in the deck.
April 4, 2015 11:56 a.m.
From a control standpoint Jace just dies to easy for me to want it.
Now from a creative standpoint Jace Beleren is awesome but you need a way to benefit from your opponent drawing or to be super sure you can ultimate him. A T2 mindsculpt followed by Surgical Extraction can make it very safe to play Jace. You'd want to do things like that so that A: His ultimate is suddenly a very real threat; and B: Even if they try to swing at you their deck is dismantled so badly they can't kill you fast enough and you ultimate.
In general if you want to play cards that help your opponent you need to make sure you're benefiting from them in a way that the opponent can't. What this would mean is you need to have cards in your deck that generate a huge advantage from Jace's draw ability that other people don't main deck. Something like Archmage Ascension is a good example, except in modern it's not even close to worth running.
Honestly I love Beleren but I think his place is in B/U discard/counter/shred or a super synergistic and unorthodox combo deck.

TheAlexGnan thanks man!
however that deck is brutal, but it's standard, in fact has many high cmc cost cards!

you're right, but I'm avoiding to play that amazing card, cause it costs a lot, otherwise I'd play also the superb Snapcaster Mage

Sweet deck, though you probably can up the numbers of some of the cards for increased consistency. Anyway there are also some minor tweaks that you could do that could improve the list further. Firstly I would take out Minamo, School at Water's Edge and just run an island. Even though you won't be able to untap Geist of Saint Traft, the extra basic can go along way against Tech edge or Blood Moon. Though knowing your opponents hand can be sometimes nice more often than not Telepathy will be a do nothing card that you would much rather have removal in the place of, especially another copy of Supreme Verdict as your Myth Realized can doge you wrath in enchantment form. I would also remove your copy of Silence for similar reasons as you already have Render Silent to stop storm and it would be much more useful as another verdict. I would also remove the 2 Vapor Snags for 2 more copies of path as the tempo play is much less effective that permanent exile as they can just cast the spell next turn as you slowly assemble your game plan, and the path disadvantage is not very relevant at all for you. I would also swap out your Anticipate and Think Twice for another 2 copies of Sphinx's Revelation as this is a much more powerful draw spell for your deck. Also you may want to remove a Remand for another Spell Pierce depending on the number of combo decks in your meta.

NigelOBody thank you so much for the advices, I agree with you on almost everything.
However, Think Twice is good to me, cause with its flashback ability practically let me put two counters on my Myth Realized, while I draw. About those Vapor Snag, I kinda like them. They're a good alternative to the Path, since I don't like to give to my opponents lands advantage.
By the way, I'll go through the edit of the deck as soon as possible. Thanks again.

Colonnade is bad in a 21 land deck. Play more Seachrome Coast.

Thanks for the advice, but I really never had any problem with my 2 Colonnades.
I don't know if I've been lucky or what, but I'll keep them.

Might even want to consider Venser, the Sojourner. Use him mainly with snapcaster on the +1, and the -1 to get damage through. his ult is just gross. Elspeth, Sun's Champion could also be a one of. I just feel like Gideon is kind of weak. If you're having problems with creatures, run Detention Sphere. Myth Realized also seems like a thing in your deck. I love it. Not too sure how it does for you. Main board looks pretty solid. i would definitely drop the Adarkar Wastes for another hallowed fountain when you can get one. That pain land in a control deck will just really hurt you in the long run. As for sideboard, i would run two Stony Silence over Kataki, War's Wage because affinity mainboards galvanic blast and he's easier to get rid of as stony silence hits and stays. Timely Reinforcements should also be replaced for Leyline of Sanctity in my opinion because then junk can't hand rip you, 8rack can't target you, and burn can't until they find that enchantment hate. reinforcements literally just buys you a turn. I'm assuming RDW is a big thing in your meta hence all the burn protection SB. Rest in peace should also be a 2 of. 3 firewalkers would be fine.

I would take out one or two [Geist of Saint Traft] and one or two [Kor Spiritdancer]. The Dancer is im my opinion too vulnerable for Point-Removals and the Geist is legendary. So with a little misfortune you have a dead card in hand. The Stalker is well protected and unblockable.
