5 color general, Esper-heavy deck with the capability to produce green/red for
Skyreach Manta
and
Opaline Bracers
. This is the "colors matter" PEDH deck I've been trying to make for sometime. this whole deck was based around finding a home for
Phyrexian Bloodstock
, a mediocre card with a great illustration; so creating that space requires some color abuse.
Cards like
Scuttlemutt
and
Tidal Visionary
help to create pathways for the myriad protection-creatures/ enchantments such as
Nightwind Glider
,
Obsidian Acolyte
, and the rune enchantments (
Rune of Protection: Green
). Likewise, cards like
Cloudchaser Kestrel
and
Aurora Griffin
help with the aforementioned MVP phyrexian bloodstock, and
Disciple of Malice
.
To get into some of the more explosive potentials the general provides,
Transguild Courier

Mind Extraction
is probably one of the nastiest combos available in PEDH; that being said,
Scuttlemutt
can also turn any creature into a 5 colored creature as well. This makes for a great way to force your opponents hand, as you can tutor for mind extraction with
Drift of Phantasms
with say a
Cho-Manno's Blessing
and a
Shield of the Oversoul
at your arsenal, to either bomb their hand, or draw out the kill/counter spell to ensure a pretty certain Voltron win.
There's a small rebel theme as well, as
Blightspeaker
and
Defiant Falcon
can search for a
Lightbringer
or
Rathi Trapper
for specific removal, and can also grab important creatures like the aforementioned
Nightwind Glider
. this deck has a slower start, so getting an
Aven Riftwatcher
into play can help mitigate early pressure, while providing a solid body that can be abused with the various blink/ ETB cards like
Cloudshift
and
Undying Evil
.
Transguild Courier
itself facilitates free color range, as well as being all color's which lends itself as a voltron wincon with
Steel of the Godhead
/
Shield of the Oversoul
, or a nasty sweeper with the aforementioned
Mind Extraction
and
Gift of the Deity
.
Other wincons include
Scaretiller
+
Springleaf Drum
as a draw engine with a cycling land; and with an added
Cave of Temptation
, you can bolster any protection-creature that gains traction.
