Yeah thanks for the help. My main meta where im at is Control. Id say 50% of the people I play run Esper or U/W.

Yup, same here. Luckily we can abuse Rootborn Defenses you could consider that in the sideboard as well, a playset of them against that matchup wouldn't exactly be bad, then you can go full on aggressive if you have one in hand.
My meta is 70% Esper or U/W the other 30% are mono-red or G/R
I may try land destruction next go around just to test the waters with it. Check it out its called Got land? it would do amazing against Esper and U/W not sure about heavy mono-red or G/R though

Pithing Needle only stops activated abilities, and therefore has zero interaction with Master of Waves . Ratchet Bomb is your best bet against him.

Derp! Yeah my bad, but yes Ratchet Bomb is key to mono-blue

Anyone else having problems in FNM with this deck style? I went 2-3 and did just plain bad for some ungodly reason.

Have you ever considered using Grove of the Guardian ? The 8/8s with vigilance I get from its ability works out awesome in my populate deck Population Overload. I was using Advent of the Wurm before that but the 8/8s worked out best for me, A 5/5 with trample is good for attacking but you have to tap him and in turn are not able to block with him, with the 8/8s I populate the crap out of them, attack each turn, and I am still able to use them as blockers if need be. Feel free to playtest my deck, who knows maybe the 8/8s will work better in you deck also.

The Advent of the Wurm is here to stay, it is a great end step of opponent cast, and can also be used to flash in and block something they feel that will get through. As far as Grove of the Guardian while it is very awesome it does take away from the land base a bit, I do want to try it but haven't come across a paper copy yet to test with. It would be nice to populate an 8/8 with vigilance though for sure. When I snag a copy of it ill do some testing irl.
Also, as for the whole can't block after attacking, typically I don't care at that point because Unflinching Courage will just lifelink me to the point where I wouldn't even mind taking 8 damage a turn if I get a monstrous Fleecemane Lion paired with a Boon Satyr and Unflinching Courage

That's a good point, an instant 5/5 is good to have but throwing in a couple Grove of the Guardian along with Advent of the Wurm wouldn't hurt. lol.

TheTouchofSatan I've been having trouble with my very similar deck Voice of Selesnya. I usually start strong (have won 2 of the matches each of the last two Fridays) but can't seem to get that third win to place. I've tried various cards at home and in playtesting it does well. Glad I'm not the only one with difficulty.

I've gone 3-1 twice and just took my first 4-0 playing a slightly modified version of this deck. Very pleased with your build.

Instead of Banisher Priest in your sideboard, I'd run Celestial Flare . The priest is great and all, (I run four in my deck Government Shutdown if you're interested), but it's not that good against midrange. Midrange decks tend to pack a lot of removal, and so once they kill him, you're back to square one. Celestial Flare is the perfect card for midrange decks though, because they have few but powerful creatures, so you are almost guaranteed to get your value back, and it still can kill Blood Baron of Vizkopa and Obzedat, Ghost Council .

@ Selyk thank you! Good to hear you are doing well, I actually got rid of this deck to build something fresh, I typically had amazing experiences with this deck but with time comes boredom, if you have another deck to suggest lay it on me ill check it out, currently im running Gruul land destruction, so far it hasn't lost a match :)
@ infinitemana I loved the Banisher Priest she never let me down, yeah against decks with Doom Blade ect ect she isn't as good, but she does do wonders against the popular green red ramp decks, Although I agree Celestial Flare is better, she is a 2/2 body which I liked.

Been good. Been relying on tapped out to get my magic fix since I'm stuck in Saudia Arabia for another two and a half weeks.

So far after taking 1st with a 5-0 record, I have just done some kitchen table magic with friends who play mono-black, boros, U/G, and also Orzhov and so far it has a near flawless record. And the game I did lose was against Obzedat, Ghost Council he also had Whip of Erebos out and I was stuck on 3 lands. All plains... lol so it was a fluke overall.
As far as siding in for esper and mono-blue, consider Mistcutter Hydra pro blue. Good against mono-blue and esper. As well as Glare of Heresy it removes espers main win-con Elspeth, Sun's Champion as well as other things you wouldn't like in a mirror such as Voice of Resurgence . Also a quick note, if I am against a control deck, I side in the other 2x Boon Satyr for flashing in after a Supreme Verdict just to keep some pressure on the board, it also goes well with a Fleecemane Lion who got to use monstrosity bringing it to an 8/6 indestructible hexproof. add Unflinching Courage on top of that and your looking at 10 damage every turn and gaining 10 life.
Last tip I have is if you are having trouble against esper only play 2-3 threats at a time, don't let them wait until you unload your hand to cast a Verdict on you. Just peck them for 2 damage here 5 damage there. Eventually they will have to blow Verdict on 2 creatures since they typically won't have any board presence for most of the game. Against mono-blue, just use Pithing Needle and name Master of Waves which makes the deck ruined. Completely. Or toss in Ratchet Bomb if we are talking about the mono-blue aggro type decks that do run Master of Waves as the win-con. Other than that be careful casting spells and keep close eye on their open mana.
