Hey nice deck! I don't know if you are in the market for other creatures, but Satyr Firedancer would work well along with your pyromancer, (when dealing damage). I understand that there aren't enough damage spells to constitute a mainboard but it might help a lot against aggro decks. check out my deck Rakdos Surgery. I think we can help each other out. +1!

I think Searing Blood would be interesting here. Maybe as an alternative to Magma Jet

Maybe try Rakdos Keyrune for your controll match up as i assume that match up is usually very bad for you? It beats their Mutavault and can't be killed by Supreme Verdict . Thanks to the first strike it is also viable against certain aggro decks.
I tried a Grixis controll deck a while back myself so +1 from me as i like the cruel controll style of gameplay.
Oh btw, in your games day report: Dreadbore can't feast on Master of Waves

Hm, I just might build this deck. How do you think it would work vs white weenie? WW is a really popular deck at my LGS, and I normally can't beat em.

How about a Rogue's Passage or two to make Master unstoppable?

Calavon - Thanks! I will do some playtesting and post my opinion here!
Benifey - It work wonders against any kind of aggro deck, including white weenies! You do want him to populate the table early, so your Anger of the Gods or overloaded Mizzium Mortars can eradicate his winning comp! Then, the removals in your hand can kill any threat he summons afterwards. When splashing blue for Detention Sphere , he can take away your creatures, but not Stormbreath Dragon ! This guys can WRECK W/U decks single-handedly.
Tip: if he plays with Gods Willing or Brave the Elements , you should target his most important creature with some removal, so after using them they'll have no answers to your board wipes.
EKGwins - Thanks, that is a great idea! Will surely try out and post the results here!

I've seen and played Rakdos Control decks. Take my advice, the Phoenix is bad. 3/3 flying haste is okay for 4 mana, but 5/5 vanilla is bad, and a smart player playing a decent deck will pay tribute every time. It simply dies to removal. Master of Cruelties is a bit on the risky side. You could run Rogue's Passage for him, but you don't really need their life total to be at one that fast if you use Rakdos's Return or Slaughter Games (with which you should really be naming cards like Dissolve and D Sphere instead of Elsepth who you can simply Downfall or Aetherling which they only run maybe a one of) and removal to clear the way for a monstrous Stormbreath or a D Demon. I like Pyromancer early game, however Drown in Sorrow kinda screws him too so he is a little iffy. I think you want to have more removal and also a way to deal with enchantments or you will just lose to Esper, Jund, and Mono Black. I like the idea of splashing white here for you for Revoke Existence whether it be mainboard or side. You would also have the option of Elspeth yourself as well as Assemble the Legion and Chained to the Rocks. The metagame is slow right now so you don't have any reason to not be playing three colors unless you run Gray Merchant or Master of the Waves.

Maybe add 1 Rogue's Passage just to ensure Master of Cruelties getting through?

Oh sorry, just saw your "maybeboard". Either way, +1 from me.

Great deck. Really solid. I play Flame-Wreathed Phoenix in Wicked White Revisited and, like Jagishamesh, I find that tribute gets paid, then the poor bird simply gets a removal. Dont get me wrong, I still run it, along with Chandra's Phoenix , just sometimes it makes me le sad.

Great deck. Scouring Sands and Chandra's Outrage could offer more removal, so please consider. +1

Guttersnipe is also good. It might work. Sideboard Flame-Wreathed Phoenix , it's not very good.

you can't say slaughter without laughter :D. +1, a new and threatening idea!

You should really put 4x Spike Jester in here. For me they're a staple for red/black decks like these.
