they have elementals in all 5 colors. for example: Horde of Notions . i've been thinking about Assault Strobe and i honestly don't know what to cut for it? suggestions?

Living Inferno seems like it'd end up killing itself a lot of the time. Rite of Flame seems like it'd only marginally ramp your deck, since you can get pretty much anything out by T4 regardless.

It's fun to be able to deal 8 damage to an opponent with Fling after activating its ability, so it essentially says "sac ~: ~ deals 8 damage divided among creatures and 8damage to an opponent" that's pretty good in my book. After looking at the mana curve, I do see that it's an outlier so I am going to remove it. I also agree with Rite of Flame . I will remove that for Hell's Thunder

Possibly. You don't need white to get it out, but I'd hate to have it in my hand the whole time while waiting for an Incandescent Soulstoke .

thats true. the lifelink isn't even that important. scratch that idea

took out the 3 Ball Lightning s for 1 more of each: Hell's Thunder Hellspark Elemental and Spark Elemental . unearth and turn 1 elementals are too important

In all honesty, I've always considered Ball Lightning to be superior to Hell's Thunder , mostly because in an RDW deck it gets you to hit for 20 quicker. Considering your removal of Living Inferno , I do think a larger elemental would make the most out of Incandescent Soulstoke , especially with the tutoring. Hateflayer works much the same way as Living Inferno . Pyroclast Consul works well with Flamekin Harbinger , but might end up wiping your board as well. Tyrant of Discord is a bomb that can easily decimate an opponent's board. Thundermare can break a stalemate and allow you to go in for the win.

Hostility may be a cool addition. Skizzik is also nice for a little later in the game (if it even lasts that long). Actually, Thunderblust would be even better late game...
Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle is a nice land to add too.
April 5, 2013 4:17 p.m.
well... the purpose is to never have a late game. once they do, this deck will lose. my biggest problem with valakut is that it comes into play tappped. that would screw up the early game this deck has to have.

Hmm true... Do you think Ball Lightning would be better suited that Incandescent Soulstoke ? It's much faster, and you shouldn't really need the tap ability of the Soulstroker.
April 6, 2013 12:08 a.m.
ahh but you're missing a crucial combo. Incandescent Soulstoke , Flamekin Harbinger , and Nova Chaser . thats my "late" game.

Hmm search for Nova Chaser with Flamekin Harbinger , put into play with Incandescent Soulstoke , using Flamekin Harbinger to champion the Chaser and swing?
April 6, 2013 11:46 a.m.
Right. Then the chaser dies because of soulstoke's ability which means harbinger returns to the battlefield. Then you search for another chaser for next turn.

Nice deck +1 for tribal elementals, one of my favorite creature types.

i like how it looks but in testing does it gas out easy?

As much as you've probably considered it, Cavern of Souls could make this deck pretty much just mean to try and handle. Especially as you only need a max of one R to cast your non-elemental spells or activate the Incandescent Soulstoke 's ability.

Have you considerred cheating in Supreme Exemplar ? A 10/10 flyer is pretty damn difficult to deal with. Also, as Dritz said, Cavern of Souls would make this deck almost impossible to deal with as well as open your options to non-red elementals a bit more.

Also, I'm sure this is an interaction you're aware of already, but I love the idea of using your Incandescent Soulstoke to drop a champion in response to any removal your opponent plays, and then flinging the champion at EoT XD

Hey, hanks for the comments!
@pokeyrabbit the opponent should be dead by the time you run out of gas but Hellspark Elemental , Hell's Thunder , and the Incandescent Soulstoke /Flamekin Harbinger /Nova Chaser combo keeps me going for a few extra turns
@Dritz I think I can squeeze in 2. You're right, it does make this deck a lot harder to deal with.
@TheLameSauce I would never cheat in Supreme Exemplar because it doesnt have haste. I might consider other elementals as long as they fit the aggro theme
Keep the comments and upvotes coming guys!
June 6, 2013 7:36 p.m.
@Tempest But, Incandescent Soulstoke gives the cheated creature Haste. As far as being more expensive to cast and a dead draw without the Soulstoke, that makes sense.

I honestly was unaware there was even an Elemental lord. I don't have anything to suggest aside from that Grafdigger's Cage hurts your deck somewhat and to consider Tormod's Crypt as an anti-reanimator option instead and that Assault Strobe turns Nova Chaser into a 1-hit KO. Otherwise +1 for me as I've always loved Elementals for being the epitome of red's hasty, angry, give-no-fucks-about-tomorrow side.
