Tribal Wizards.

I tried to build this around certain wizard constructs/themes, so it has a sample of everything that wizards may do, without one dominating the entire deck. I threw in sphinxes as well for some degree of evasion, and their abilities mesh/complement wizards nicely.

Themes (with # of cards with that ability in deck):

***Card Draw (7 cards) - several wizards and sphinxes use this ability. I tried to pull what I had from my collection.

***Return X to Hand (6 cards) - Either sending a creature back or returning something from a graveyard

***Ping for 1 Damage (3 cards) - I like running these guys. I wish there were more of em in my collection...

***Counterspells/Counter Unless Opponent Pays X (13 cards) - maybe a little too controlly, but for the wizards its more about paying the extra 1 colorless to resolve the spell

***Exile (5 cards) - I play against a lot of zombie reanimators/graveyard decks...so sue me.

***Untap/Tap Target (5 cards) - Merieke Ri Berit combos well here, as well as the "Ping for 1 Damage" wizards, "counterspell unless 1 colorless is paid", etc.

***Foresight/Scrying (7 cards) - maybe not a 'pure' wizard mechanic, but its fun to play with

***Misc/Goodstuff (12 cards) - Doesn't fit into any of the above categories, but they are fun to play/have fun mechanics. Cards include: Elite Arcanist, Havengul Lich, Master of Predicaments , Medomai the Ageless , Nameless One , Sharding Sphinx, Sharuum the Hegemon, Sphinx of the Steel Wind (biggest beater in the deck), Sphinx Sovereign, Sphinx's Herald , Demonic Tutor, Obzedat's Aid

Updates:

***1.1 (current version) - I cut Sphinx's Herald , Isperia the Inscrutable , Brine Seer , & Palace Siege, in favor of nebuchadneszzar, Celestial Dawn , and some extra land.

***1.0 - The deck feels a little land-light by 2-3 cards. Should I cut from a theme or from misc/goodstuff?
