Also, Legion Loyalist as a 1 of is searchable with Ranger of Eos and lets you swing through the tokens your opponents generate with Genesis Chamber! Use it as a back up plan if your opponent gets more benefit from the Genesis Chamber than you do

If they're benefitting too much from the chamber I'm probably doing better than them anyway more than likely having a staring contest while norin is pushing me closer to victory

As for targeted removal I have more targets than they will be able to deal with, (funny thing they killed their Liliana of the Veil in one game to try and kill norin and I pathed norin to save him)

from my testing so far it has a good matchup vs abzan decks without liliana and fair matchups vs abzan with lili (against liliana bolt and helix are heavy deciding factors and if you don't have them you may need to hold up Path to Exile to protect norin on an empty board) vs twin it's a matter of whether or not they can get enough removal for your sisters to be able to combo off otherwise your value plan is better than theirs and you're effectively a burn deck

against burn it's again a match of out pacing their damage with your own life gain but in this matchup it's usually better to be on a token plan rather than burn/impact plan.

best possible start is

turn 1: Sacred Foundry Champion of the Parish

turn 2: Clifftop Retreat Norin the Wary Norin the Wary swing with Champion of the Parish for 3

turn 3: put down all your humans swing for 5-8 damage

obviously this requires alot of luck that your opponent has no removal

yeah... so uhhh how do you feel about losing to torpor orb? i mean, you feel like a twin deck without control spells and 0 backup plan. this looks cool, but you will get shut down hard.

Torpor Orb is getting run in this meta? i thought that without pod torpor orb got replaced with the proper removal for any given deck as sideboard vs twin but yo answer your question i'll quote a legacy deck builder who built manaless dredge "if you fear a single card in the format you will never build a working deck"

Femme_Fatale says... #7

Torpor Orb got replaced with Spellskite to deal with Twin since Burn and Infect are things.

tyforthevenom says... #8

either way torpor orb is too narrow for the current meta

lighting berserker would be asome in this deck

tyforthevenom says... #10

Lightning Berserker i don't think it would, it's a standard card that needs constant mana investment

May 30, 2015 2:31 p.m.

flakegun says... #11

one mana to hit all your triggers for days why not

May 30, 2015 2:46 p.m.

tyforthevenom says... #12

coz it's 1 mana every turn when you could always just attack with norin to trigger everything

I like it a lot. If you do lose a match, how does it typically happen? That info should yield some better suggestions for you.

General suggestions:
Raid Bombardment / Chandra's Spitfire - either would seem to work in your deck and together they're insane
Boros Charm - all modes are relevant here, but most often you'll probably keep your stuff alive

tyforthevenom says... #16

it's normally they kill all my non norin cards

Auriok Champion could work as a sideboard against black/red decks and isn't bad as a lifegain rock.
Cathars' Crusade would be fun but is probably too much of a win more CMC
Mantle of Leadership is a perpetual +2/+2 or greater
Saltskitter probably also win more but basically makes Norin a two proc instead of one proc

Feel free to test and experiment with the list but I've found that other than boros charm which can occasionally be good for the deck all those suggestions are terrible, sorry but you want to be casting a spell for every point of mana each turn or have a turn of ridiculously high impact (I.e paying 4 mana to fetch your norin and the card that best suits the matchup) purphoros is nothing more than Impact Tremors 5+6 with a tiny upside, enjoy stomping abzan, burn and twin but you might struggle against a few of the less grindy matchups where your sisters don't matter as much

:(

I want Saltskitter to be good.

tyforthevenom says... #20

4 mana is just too much for not much

jchudz says... #21

You might want to try and find some room in the 75 for a couple Auriok Champion. The pro red helps you block like a champ against the burn decks and makes it that much more difficult to deal with.

tyforthevenom says... #22

It's in the board, it's only useful vs burn usually as rhino tramples over the top and tassigur isn't much of an issue

BigZebas says... #23

is it competitive?

June 2, 2015 11:33 a.m.

tyforthevenom says... #24

Twin burn and abzan have issues with it infect has problems with the amount of myr tokens and burn the deck runs and amulet bloom will do its thing despite what deck it's against
