This can be a modern deck, if instead of Seahunter , you play x2 Merrow Harbinger .

1)DEFENCE: With Silvergill Douser and Harpoon Sniper your defences will be outstanding becouse you will never actually need to block, add that to the Judge of Currents and, since by playing more their ability stacks up, your life total will quickly grow.

2) ATTACK: the main strategy is to give you opponent an island with Aquitect's Will and kill him with Master of the Pearl Trident.

combine that with Merrow Commerce , that baisically gives all merfolk vigilance, Seahunter , which has a ridiculously overpowered effect, some white removal and some counter spells and you pretty much won. sideboard: infinite combos with Intruder Alarm]
