chrisdavis I've seen that deck. It wasn't too bad. I was sad to not see Counterflux in it.

ccharlie9999 word, If you have seen that deck they must have seen me playing with it or copied it from here. I've been running it since theros came out.

No you just advertise it on so many other decks that I eventually saw it.

lol I do put it everywhere. Its a good deck I would recommend it for anyone running esper control right now, because if you run into while playing you'll just lose. I like it when ppl advertise their ideas it helps me a lot.

Man, I've never laugh so much from a deck description, +1 from me. I think I might put this deck together and go play my weekly Standard night just to see the look on their faces.

How have you been playing this deck since Theros, if most of the cards are Born of the Gods..?
January 28, 2014 1:48 a.m.
hugenjpana I never said that. I've been playing America.
Thank you Grimwolf79. I wouldn't recommend actually playing this combo because it's a very small chance you'll have a proper opening hand. You'll get the combo off about one in twenty or thirty games, but having the deck just to show people is always fun. :)

Thank you, gradavar, but I'm not looking for ways to win instantly. There's a lot of cards that with infinite mana could just win immediately, like Mind Grind and Volcanic Geyser . That's not interesting.

Agh! Turns out you don't need Felhide Spiritbinder you already have infinite copies of a creature thanks to Fated Infatuation , Vitu-Ghazi Guildmage , the same way you make infinite copies of Encroaching Wastes .
But if you do want infinite enchantments with Ethereal Armor ...
January 28, 2014 6:18 p.m.
flyguy you can create infinite enchantment creatures, but infinite Ethereal Armor isn't happening in standard, sadly. Modern, it's possible. But not standard.
January 28, 2014 7:47 p.m.
I just meant put Ethereal Armor on something with infinite enchantments out...

If I was looking for something like that, I'd just do Eidolon of Countless Battles because it synergizes better with the deck.

Just a fun thing i thought of, not even sure you can do this in standard: Make all of your opponent's creatures blue and swing with Mistcutter Hydra . This will work as pseudo-unblockability. I personally love this deck. I'm sure some REAL standard deck is out there with at least the Kiora's Follower part of the combo. +1

Hider1120 it isn't possible to make your opponent's creatures blue in standard. The closest things I can find are Dragonshift that can make one or all of your own creatures blue (and red), but doesn't necessarily do it to your opponent's creatures, and Trait Doctoring is an effect similar to what you're purposing, but isn't quite it.

Hmmm. What about Akroan Horse + Gruul Charm + Hellkite Tyrant ? Make your opponent have infinite artifact creatures, then win by gaining control of all of them?

I might recommend putting Dissolve or another reliable counter-spell in, while the Aristocrat combo may usually work to protect your stuff, having an Elite Arcanist with an attached Dissolve means that you can counter anything at any time. Not only does it give you protection from that guy who tries to Detention Sphere your Kiora's Follower , but it also means more trolling potential as you stop them from playing literally anything.
