I don't know what modern is, but Sneak Attack ? It might be to old. Anyways, I'm thinking something like Gauntlet of Power or Caged Sun would help ramp. I'm not sure you would want to splash green though. I don't know what tron is, But maybe some of the Praetors from New Phyrexia would fit. +1

imho bonfire is the incorrect x-spell for a deck like this. Bonfire of the Damned is at it's best is a mid-range mirror where you miracle it, wipe your opponents board and attack for the win. You would probably want Banefire cause if you can't make x=5 when it matters you've probably lost anyways. Also I find Gifts a little curious when you can't just go get Unburial rights and a fattie. Maybe a Bogardan Hellkite or 2 and some Condescend 's would be better

Well I can't get a fattie with unburial rites because all my fatties are Eldrazi who can't hit a graveyard. Bogardan Hellkite is going to work much better than bonfire, but I'm thinking Condescend will probably be more useful than Repeal... maybe. I'll test it. Thanks!

Because Gifts Ungiven is the turn four connection that fetches up all my everything: Through the Breech, any missing urza lands, a few eldrazi/fatties, anything.

The problem is the value gifts tends to be too slow in modern, seeing as how turn 3 Karn Liberated 's and turn 4-5 make infinite dudes and swing are both rather routine. Finding ways to help to to the long game instead of giving your opponent a window to kill you will probably work out better in the long run.

Mine would run 3 Spine of Ish Sah and a set of Kuldotha Forgemaster . you wind up doing the whole sac-fetch-destroy thing again and again on top of thinning your library a little. maybe a Chimeric Mass would help too.

That is an interesting idea... I do enjoy Chimeric Mass. I'll playtest it.

Thats the entire point of the deck - fun. Not super effective, but my god hard-casting Emrakul is so satisfying.

i went green, instead of using urza-tron i went for the locuses Cloudpost et-al. nobody told me they were illegal in modern before i ordered the cards, i have yet to acquire a set of Vesuva to complete the deck. Vesuva might fit into this deck nicely too

I tried it but I really need the land to come into play untapped. Green works really nicely too, but I just went Through the Breach instead... 3 colors would be too much.

ive seen a lot of these decks run Karn Liberated the mana cost really is really exactly up your alley

he's more of an answer than a threat. dont need his ultimate so long as you're stopping them from completely pulling off their combo or whatever they intend to do by turn 3
