I don't know anything about modern but what about Braids, Conjurer Adept ?

Wow, thats perfect... she's legal, easy for me to play, and a decent creature. I'm not sure what I should take out for that though...

I'd recommend more mana chrystals. Use Chromatic Sphere s, Prophetic Prism , Chromatic Star , etc. Cut the blue instants. You'll find what you need with the mana crystals' draw abilities.

Karn Liberated really makes this deck powerful. You need AT LEAST 3 if not a full set of 4.

Cut the 4 Breeding Pool and 4 Misty Rainforest and turn them into 4 Yavimaya Coast and 1 Eye of Ugin . I personally run 19 land in my Urzatron deck. This way you can use the colorless if you don't need the colors. Eye of Ugin may seem like a dead draw, but it is also a must for this deck to be effective. Leave the forest and island though so that you have a basic land in case of Ghost Quarter .

Spell Burst over Remand ? You should be able to make enough mana to counter everything they have and buy it back.

I created a deck like this, and I find card:Mind's Eye to be useful.

That is brilliant. Perhaps better than Gift's Ungiven. I'm going to try it out. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'd take the Vesuva suggestion.

card:Thespian's Stage is just out, useful for Tron.

I noticed that, yes Thespian Stage is an all star. Better than Vesuva, no?

February 2, 2013 1:32 p.m.

card:Blue Sun's Zenith so they can draw their deck!

Elvish Piper good substitute for Show and Tell, plus it's green

I really like this deck. I don't know if you are still working on it, but I play tested it a handful of times and although I love the ramp I feel like spell snare is often a dead draw and it can be hard to get enough green mana to activate some of the ramp. I would cut both spell snares for a pair of green mana sources

NHALT, thank you very much. Spell Snare indeed is often a dead drop but still very powerful... I'll keep it in the sideboard though. I feel like I may do best with yeah, either some more ramp/mana fixer things, or just some more removal or defense cards. Any thoughts?

Bring your land count up to at least 24, if not 25 lands. From experience, a ramp deck can't afford to miss a land drop. Cut Simic Signet for two more colored sources.

And :-( no Emrakul, the Aeons Torn ?

Granted it's Legacy Post, but the same idea is at work:

Mah Mean Green, Stomping Machine

Also, Cyclonic Rift wouldn't be a bad idea...

I don't think Vesuva is necessary here i think you're better off running Academy Ruins , to combo with Mindslaver , as a 1-of alongside either a couple more basics or another utility land, probably Alchemist's Refuge , in vesuva's place. Where is Tolaria West ?

I'd run Krosan Grip , Nature's Claim or Beast Within in the sideboard. Ideally you'd have Oblivion Stone in the deck too

Oblivion Stone is just too slow for this deck. Not going to function well here..

Spine of Ish Sah + Phyrexia's Core = awesomeness. I like the Ruins + Mindslaver suggestion as well, however Karn does ALOT of work for this deck! He wins games by himself if unanswered.

Tron is one of my favorite modern decks. This is the first actual control build that I like good job. I have a 'jund' build that i play that is your typical r/g version but has 2 Graven Cairns just for Rakdos's Return it may be too much color splashing for you but I find it very powerfull against a lot of stuff (especialy the mirrior). A 1 of Eye of Ugin would allow you to search up the eldrazi and Wurmcoil Engine . Maybe an Emrakul, the Aeons Torn instead of Platinum Angel ? just suggestions. Make the deck how you will have the most fun. I always say make it your own.

2x Emrakul, the Aeons Torn = infinite loop with Eye of Ugin might want to consider that option since having 20 mana and an eye isn't that hard anyways with your land base, combo goes like this: add 13 too pool, cast Emrakul, the Aeons Torn tap Eye of Ugin search out another emrakul, take another turn, attack 15, then play your second emrakul, causing you to take another turn, both emrakuls go to your graveyard, and then shuffle back into library, on that sam turn activate Eye of Ugin search for an emrakul take another turn.. repeat the process.. +1! :)

Thanks kingpimp, I appreciate that. It's just I think that pretty much when I cast an Emrakul theres really no way I lose at that point anyway, at least in the games I've played so far.

lol kk, the reason i would use it is because of cards like Oblivion Ring Journey to Nowhere and even Wrath of God that will stop you before they are completely dead and with the loop it is inevitable that you win... although i guess by the time you have the loop they will have lost the five extra life that is needed unless they are playing life gain or something like that...

You should try Blightsteel Colossus , my friend uses him and it works pretty well if you can get him out fast enough.
