The-Xellos - I brought that up in the discussion on mythicspoiler. Basically, this is a win-more card. It is VERY underwhelming when tron is NOT assembled, and unnecessary when tron IS assembled. However, I would definitely like to playtest this in scapeshift. I feel it would really shine in that deck as a 1-2x finisher.

Do you think it's possible to fit Evolutionary Leap into this deck? Maybe sac Wurmcoil Engine to it to try and hit Emrakul, the Aeons Torn? It's pretty risky, but the potential seems there.

I saw a deck like that in action. Won 1st game and lost two nexts. Why?
Surgical Extraction in sideboard. Name Urza Mine, Tower or Powerplant GGWP. Where is your mana?

In Green red tron I've considered playing Dragonlord Atarka and Haven of the Spirit Dragon alongside Ugin, the Spirit Dragon as the win cons because late game your Expedition Map and Sylvan Scrying can go fetch the haven and allow you to recur your finishers and atarka would help your creature match-ups because she can kill 2 or even 3 creatures entering the battlefield and then is a huge wall.

Can you give me some help on my RG Tron deck? I'm trying to cut the cost without taking too much away. Thanks! (pardon the goofy name)

Hey, so I know that you properly have a lot of people here in the suggestions, asking if you could take a look at their new tron deck, and I also know that you properly find that anoying or maybe not, but here I am anyway asking you the same thing :D

So I made this U/R tron deck which I may want to buy in the near future... Therefore it would be fantastic to get some help and suggestions from a experienced tron player like you.

Izzet... U/R Tron!? (modern post rotation)

Please check it out, it really means a lot to me.

I haven't been consistently checking the comments in a while, and I see quite a few have accumulated. Bear with me, but I'm going to answer every comment in this post; it's going to be a long one.

Force_of_Will, Life from the Loam is a decent answer to land destruction via cards such as Fulminator Mage, and I suppose I can see it's use over Crucible of Worlds, however I feel that neither are really necessary. If you really want to include one as a sideboard slot, both could work. I don't see enough land destruction in my meta to justify putting either in the sideboard. Generally, it's easier to run more cantrips to fetch out a new Urza land than to try and recur old ones that have been destroyed. Generally, I concede that any lands destroyed by the opponent is to their advantage, and once an Urza land is destroyed, it will stay in the graveyard - there are still 3 others to find in your deck. Hope my advice helps.

The-Xellos, As Dreno33 said, Animist's Awakening does not have a great fit for this deck. If played in the early game for X = 1, 2, or 3, it will likely land us nothing useful, making Sylvan Scrying a far superior card in all forms in this deck. Once Tron is assembled and it can be cast for X = 6+, the card may offer fantastic value, but it's usefulness is limited because additional mana beyond 8 is rarely a necessity for winning with this deck. Once Tron is assembled, spending an entire turn to put more lands into play is a waste of precious resources and turns. 6+ mana is better spent on cards that immediately impact the board and start winning you the game, i.e., Wurmcoil Engine, Karn Liberated, Oblivion Stone, and Ugin, the Spirit Dragon.

planesgamer99, I don't think this deck is the best use of Evolutionary Leap. That deck space would be better spent on another large creature rather than an enchantment that tries to sacrifice a big creature to make another big one. Emrakul, the Aeons Torn is best played in this deck as a finisher, and hard-casted. Wurmcoil Engine is too valuable to sac to Evolutionary Leap, and so that deck space would be better spent with another Relic of Progenitus, for example.

xDELCO, If the opponent can manage to play a discard spell, force an Urza land into the graveyard, and then cast Surgical Extraction on it, good for them; there is not many ways this deck can react to such a strong, punishing play. This 2-card combo would have the same effect as a single Sowing Salt, which is rarely if ever seen in any sideboards, so this play doesn't frighten me very much. I've never seen anybody do it before.

exeko, Colossus of Akros is certainly a strong card for a deck like this, but it doesn't impact the board enough upon entry, and requires 18 mana to start attacking - a potential game loser if spent right before a Path to Exile. At 8 mana, Ugin, the Spirit Dragon works better in this deck as it can exile all your opponents colored permanents when it enters, or provide straight value by dealing three to them each turn.

acetiger5, To me, Eye of Ugin and Wurmcoil Engine/Emrakul, the Aeons Torn is a better combination as a finisher package for this deck than Haven of the Spirit Dragon and Dragonlord Atarka. Atarka is harder to cast, doesn't destroy as much of your opponents board as Emrakul, and doesn't give you insane life gain each turn like Wurmcoil.

Mackman99 and zZAZz, I'll give your decks a look over and provide feedback.

tchau204, Thank you and good luck to you as well!

How much worst would it make the deck if I replaced the Grove of the Burnwillows with Copperline Gorge ?

I'm not really trying to budget brew, but I wanna slowly buy it and I already have Copperline Gorge.

Thanks for all the information on the deck, it is currently one of the most awesome I have seen and tried.

Ursaromg, I would consider Copperline Gorge among the better choices for replacements of Grove of the Burnwillows. Karplusan Forest may be a slightly better choice just because it will always give you mana and not force you to play it before Turn 4, but Copperline Gorge is fine really as well because it won't cost you any life. I think given the insane price of Burnwillows these days, I can't fault you for it. I'd say you could get away with using it in tournaments.

But if I had to be serious... what about Realms Uncharted? :)

Thanks a lot for your answer :) !

I was also wondering, what are your thoughts about Sanctum of Ugin ? Personally see it as a worst Eye of Ugin but who knows.

Also Void Winnower, but I doubt that this card has any relevance in modern for a nine cmc.

Currently building the deck, my local game store has no tron players playing in it.It has a lot of abzan and control, burn is only played by one of my friend. I wonder how successful it will be !

Does your list have alot of game vs Scapeshift? I have found its the one controlish deck that has the ability to keep up with mana advantage but they have a faster kill.

I wouldn't sideboard Relic out against Infect. Cheesing them out of playing a Become Immense when their hand is reliant on it is one the few ways that you can win in the matchup.

I have to say I love how involved you are with these comments. I am just getting into modern and decided to try my hand an Gruul Eldrazi Tron deck and would appreciate any advice you could give. I really like how you have this deck setup and can change with the sideboard depending on what deck you are facing.
