Starting with the Kiora vs. deck, my first step was to make it legal in Modern before making other changes. With the amount of card drawing I was doing, it seemed like Lorescale Coatl wasn't quite enough, so I added Chasm Skulker to beef up the mid-game. Ideally, this gets me to the point where I can bring out some really big beasts. The Simic Sky Swallower is an old favourite and I couldn't resist its inclusion.I was a little worried about emptying my library and being vulnerable to milling, so I added the two Elixir of Immortality, though its probably more of a sideboard option.

Updates Add

I keep finding things I want to add. Lorescale Coatl and Chasm Skulker are now both at 4. To get them out faster, I've added 3 copies of Collected Companyfoil. I would like to add some counterspelling, but I'm struggling to make room. The card draw has to be plentiful to fuel the main creatures, and the rapid mana ramp helps this along. I've ended up with some single cards - Hardened Scales, Inspiring Call, and Solidarity of Heroes to name a few. They all have solid potential so I'm hoping to playtest and decide which are kept in multiples and which are cut.
