Do you want more control or do you want to survive control? If it is the former, you can run Pit Fight or Prey Upon . Unfortunately, Green is not known for its removal spells. You also sided boarded Oblivion Ring , which can serve as decent removal if used, and Selesnya Charm can deal with your opponents bombs. It seems like you are on the right path.
If you are worried about losing your creatures to control, I would not worry much. There is not much that can stop a Selesnya deck in full swing. You do have to be worried about losing Arbor Elf and Avacyn's Pilgrim , but I found most opponents are too busy setting up their own board advantage to worry about your ramp. If you find your opponents are (wisely) bitchslapping your ramp, you may want to switch some Arbor Elf s for Farseek s (and grab those dual lands). Costs 1 more, but also much harder to destroy.

Thanks for the suggestions! I now realize that Rootborn Defenses is probably required, and much better than Divine Deflection . Thanks for the tip about Farseek , I thought I could fit in somehow.
Am I playing too many Armada Wurm s? I'm not sure I have a strong enough win condition if I get locked in a stalemate.

4 Armada Wurm is WAY too many. Rancor is also unnecessary in this deck as all your creatures are already huge. I'd take those out for a set of Farseek . And if you want to go heavy green, Ranger's Path is also a ramp option. A one-of Grove of the Guardian wouldn't hurt the mana and it can potentially act as a win-con especially with populate. This kind of deck is vulnerable to board-wipes and other midrange decks that gets their stuff out a bit faster than you do. You need to run some spot removals to combat those threats. I suggest Angel of Serenity since you're already going big. She's a win-con on her own when resolved. Garruk Relentless Flip is also a good planeswalker with a built-in removal and could help tutor for your finishers. Garruk, Primal Hunter will help replenish your hands as the game progresses which is very necessary to keep up with control.
Cloudshift has also proven to be hugely successful in abusing ETB effects and dodging removals. I run them in my deck and it has won me countless games.
Your sideboard is a bit all over the place at the moment. I'd suggest working on that by coming up with a scenario in which you'd side a certain card in. If you draw a blank or feel iffy about a card, that's your signal to cut them.

While I agree with most of what mrbloo1848 said, I am going to disagree about one card: Rancor it is SO huge in the meta right now, I don't see a reason not to run four of them. It turns anything (especially the smiters) into big pressure in the early game. I run Esper control and when I see a smiter my thought it, "no problem, I'll just block it to infinity with Lingering Souls them wipe it when I'm good and ready" once racor hits the field and he gets trample, I start rushing to find a way to remove it. Even if rancor doesn't win you the game, it will draw their removal onto lesser creatures in order to make room for your Thrags and Wurms.
If you are really worried about having a late-game finisher, I do have one other suggestion, but it depends on your local meta. This probably won't work if your meta has a lot of hyper-aggro decks, but you could remove the 2x Centaur Healer and either the Strangleroot Geist or the Yeva, Nature's Herald in order to make room for 4x Silverblade Paladin . Pair him with one of your Armada Wurm or that smiter with a rancor and control players with either wipe or scoop right there.

This deck definitely has potential, though I would suggest that you add some more higher cost creatures to fill out the top of the ramp. Angel of Serenity , Giant Adephage , and Worldspine Wurm might help you out here. I love the idea of Yeva, Nature's Herald purely for the bombing of arbor elf for a quick block or mana boost the next turn. Check out my Sigarda, Host of Whoopass, it might give you some ideas.

A buddy of mine was running a deck similar to this a while ago. The main difference was his inclusion of 2 Entreat the Angels and it was really powerful. I would suggest considering it.

Looks ok, although i have 2 Suggestions.
You have cards that put tokens on the field with big mana costs like Armada Wurm and Thragtusk , but why leave out the easy ones like Call of the Conclave ?
You put tokens on the field, but have few ways to populate them. Maybe Growing Ranks ?
Control is my major weakness too in my deck Thrusty tokens, let me know if you find solutions.

The populate mechanic is not exactly something I'm banking on here. This deck relies on cutesy flicker plays in order to avoid removal. This trick can't be done with tokens so I don't exactly get full value out of tokens. It's just icing on the cake if I can populate a wurm on my opponents turn or something.
That being said, I don't think there is a whole lot of value in Call of the Conclave and Growing Ranks since they simply make tokens and don't have a ton of bonus value.

Sideboard Pithing Needle against jerks like Olivia Voldaren . Also, if they're playing Olivia, they're probably playing Jund which means there's a good chance they have Liliana of the Veil . Loxodon Smiter and Sigarda, Host of Herons are her arch enemies.
Another fun win condition is flickering Serra Avatar with Trostani, Selesnya's Voice gaining you that sweet, sweet life. Then Rancor Serra Avatar for the win. Needs lots of ramp though.

With a fairly high curve you should probably be running 24 lands. I think the Selesnya Charm is better as a 2 or 3 of anyways, which frees up at least one spot. Next I'd look at going to 2 Cloudshift s or 3 Rancor s. Also Advent of the Wurm is amazing, so consider that too.

I was originally running 24 lands, but I found I had to mulligan a lot. I took two lands out and the mulligans were much less frequent.

Your biggest problem out of a control deck would be board wipes. You need to find some way to duck their Supreme Verdict as it is the most popular wipe in standard right now. Rootborn Defenses is always nice in a token-ish build anyway. I would recommend 2-4 in the side in place of some Divine Deflection (a more controlly card anyway) or Intangible Virtue .
Those are my thoughts anyway. I hope your FNM debut goes well!
