Trostani and her spooky tokens

Trostani, Selesnya's Voice is a deck focused on creating clones of bigger and badder tokens than just pathetic 1/1's. The deck is built to turn into an engine of creating nasty tokens, gaining nasty life, drawing nasty cards, and then stabbing your opponents to death with tokens and life gain. If anyone wants to leave any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it, I'm always in need of better cards (especially removal atm). If your broke like me, check out my budget version deck:Trostani's Spooky Tokens Budget or just comment/message me and I can help you out. If anyone wants to donate an up vote I wouldn't mind.

As I previously said, the goal of this deck is to create an engine that gets you lots of big bad spooky tokens. How are we going to do that? The first piece is the token makers, those make us tokens, pretty important, then we have the token duplicators, so that we can have even more tokens, lastly you have all the other stuff.

Tokenators

Token Makers are the most important part of the deck, without them this deck is just a ton of populate effects with nothing to clone. now when i'm talking token makers, I don't want any of these disgusting 1/1's, those are garbage, i'm not wasting 3 mana to populate a 1/1, so instead we use cards that make tokens of good cards. Those cards are cards like Mimic Vat and Seance. Now you might be saying "But then your crazy nasty tokens are just going to die at the end of the turn!!!" Well that's where our handy dandy duplicators come in.

  • Mimic Vat - One of my favorites, for an affordable price, you can create not only tokens of your creatures but your opponents creatures.
  • Seance - Also one of my favorites, its cheap, its easy, its awesome.
  • Bramble Sovereign - doesn't require the creature to die, also can create tokens for other people? Idk maybe you want to make friends.
  • Helm of the Host - Expensive, but worth it, the tokens don't go away, plus you can copy legendary creatures.
  • Mirrorpool - Its on a land, that's pretty much it, solid card.
  • Blade of Selves - you can get multiple copies, pretty cheap, and not a bad card without all the token shenanigans.
  • God-Pharaoh's Gift - Just more expensive Seance
  • Lithoform Engine - We got a new toy for this deck and I'm exited, not only does it provide token making, it can also copy spells or ability's, its gonna be great. OH! and did I mention it can also copy any permanent, and if you have a doubling season, that can mean some pretty nasty stuff.

Duplicators

Duplicators are pretty simple, you just input a token, and poof now there's 2! wow! they have 2 advantages, more tokens, and tokens that dont disappear because you made them with seance or mimic vat. I'm pretty sure its pretty obvious what cards are duplicators but i'll still list them.

Ramp

there's not a lot to say about ramp, this deck has a pretty high curve, so ramps pretty important. That's pretty much it

Card Draw

Card draw was difficult, white is a garbage color and just doesn't have anything to offer in terms of card draw, however I made it work I think. its pretty much just Elemental Bond and company.

Protection/Recursion

If you've actually looked at the cards in the deck you might have noticed, there are some pretty saucy enchantments, and if they get destroyed, well, things start to suck and everything falls apart and your deck just turns into a hot mess, that's why we have protection for our beloved enchantments, and recursion in case plan A doesn't work.

  • Sterling Grove - Great card, protects your enchantments, and can tutor for an enchantment, pretty nice
  • Open the Vaults - you get to bring all your enchantments AND artifacts back, downside is so does everyone else, who knows maybe you can make friends with an artifact deck or two.
  • Replenish - you get to bring all your enchantments back, you don't get any artifacts, but neither does your neighborhood artifact deck.
  • Hall of Heliod's Generosity - It's a land. It brings back enchantments. It gives you mana. Good card
  • Cavalier of Dawn - and my new favorite, the kill and recursion-ator, were talking populatable enchantment recursion, and better yet, removal.
  • Awakening Zone + Duplicator - Whats better than 1 scion? twice as many scions.
  • Duplicator + Smothering Tithe - twice the treasure tokens
  • Duplicator + Skyclave Relic - we'll try it out, twice the relic tokens twice the fun.
  • Crested Sunmare + Tokenator - now the horse makers can be indestructible too, not just the horses.
  • Angle of sanctions - not a synergy but i just thought i'd point out that the embalm ability makes a token, just to be clear
  • Phyrexian Processor + Trostani, Selesnya's Voice - Just pay all your life into this machine and then pump out 40/40's that gain you 40 life.
  • just check out my budget deck, If you want help with making this deck but budget just comment or message and I'll totally help you out, I have nothing better to do
