No Elspeth Tirel , Elspeth, Knight-Errant , Garruk, Primal Hunter or Garruk Wildspeaker ? Even without the token theme they're all great cards, and the occasional draw from Garruk would seem to be a godsend. Also I'm a bit surprised Harmonize and Sylvan Library isn't in here, I just figure any amount of draw you could squeeze out of G/W would be seriously needed. Also Sylvan Library with Abundance lets you draw 3 for free every turn, you don't need to pay the life.

I really like the deck, it looks really fun to play and pretty effective. I'd probably cut Elixir of Immortality as I don't really see the point of it. Other than that there's not much I'd change, good job.

Pollenbright Wings on a tramble fattie could be fun :)and Ageless Entity could be fun with the life gain. Like the deck

@zorsmobile: I don't run planeswalkers because they're behind in my priorities and I'm out of money. Harmonize is a little crap in EDH imo, and Sylvan Library is okay, but not required. I may cut Elixir later, but it's my only defense against being milled out.

@MasterOfRealms: Totally missing the point of a token focused deck.

Does anybody actually run mill in your playgroup? If they are you should be beating them pretty easily... :P

There are some instant-mill combos in control decks and such that can be prevented by Elixir.

card:White Sun's Zenith for cat tokens and a refillable deck

I'm not going to dignify that with a response.

What?

I said I wasn't gonna respond, but: It's already in my deck, AND it doesn't refill your deck, it shuffles back in if you cast it.

February 13, 2013 5:15 p.m.

Which refills and replenishes your deck, meaning hat you just have to draw it, and it never dies unless they force discard. Also, don't have to be such a prick. I thought it was a sorcery. My b.

I wasn't being a prick, please don't assume you know the tone of my responses. And if it gets milled then it doesn't come back either.

Oh and don't insult me on my own decklists, it makes you look like a huge asshole.

I'd consider Luminarch Ascension . You can pretty reliably start crapping out Angel tokens within a few turns, and it gets pretty nutty.

I'd considered that card. I should set a maybeboard so I can keep track of my considered cards, lol.

Quick check from your tumblr link. My first impression is, "Where's an Elspeth?"

Otherwise, looks pretty fun to play, even without a "team photo" (Bestial Menace ). :p

Bestial Menace isn't quite as good as Coursers' Accord (Getting a 3/3 Centaur and a copy of any token I have can means up to 11 power without token doublers), and I don't really want more 1/1 tokens, hence no Elspeth.

Sorry about being a dick earlier. Another thing I came across was Sigil Captain , which would immensely benefit any 1/1s put out.

I had it way back when this was a Rhys deck, but he does nothing if I have any anthem effects out. And it's alright, sometimes we fly off the handle a bit, we're only human.

February 15, 2013 10:08 a.m.

That's not true. They still enter the battlefield as 1/1s, so it still works. the +1/+1 only applies after the spell has resolved.

February 15, 2013 10:11 a.m.

Skyfolk says... #21

No, they do not. Static abilities start affecting things as soon as they're on the battlefield. When Sigil Captain's ability triggers, they're more than 1/1 and they don't get the counters.

For reference, straight from the Gatherer rulings:

5/1/2009: Sigil Captain's ability has an "intervening 'if' clause." That means (1) the ability won't trigger at all unless the creature that enters the battlefield under your control is 1/1, and (2) the ability will do nothing unless that creature is still 1/1 at the time the ability resolves.

then remove Marshal's Anthem....it's easier...and the X return rquires so much mana. just use Remember the Fallen
