I'm glad you liked it. Although I do hope you looked at the deck as well.

Do you prefer the 2/3 body on Hammerhead Shark, over the 4/1 body of Dandan?

Not necessarily, but I definitely prefer the casting cost; is just not mana I can reliably produce. Plus, the Hammerhead Shark doesn't die to my own Pyroclasms.

Dandan can however, evolve a little more your evolvers...

Love the deck idea.
It may be expensive at 4 CMC but Windrider Eel can be a good beater. Helps evolve the Elusive Krasis to an extent.
Also, you currently have 62 cards listed. If purposeful, power to ya. Otherwise, might wanna slim down to 60.

Thanks, FrantaFire. Yeah, Windrider Eel is something I considered when designing the deck but I think it's just too expensive for its effect; it's really bad at defence and not even reliably good at offence either.
The 62 cards is intentional - it's a fairly common strategy in Tribal Wars - since the amount of tribal creatures required in the deck is rounded down, having 62 cards allows me to have a slightly higher ratio of non-tribal cards.
@acefalo Sure, and if I could afford a proper fetch-/dual-land manabase I would definitely give Dandan a shot, but my manabase is only barely functional as it is and trying to run a double-blue card off it would be a bad idea.

Took the time to read everything you wrote. LOVED IT! Love is a strong word, but I use it to the fullest extent here. Made me giggle. +1!

Halimar Depths might be interesting in this deck to help search for your spreading seas

Thanks for the suggestion, Njdisher, but the mana-base really doesn't want more tap-lands and I don't think Halimar Depths would be better than another scry-temple even if it did.

you could try Halimar Depths (and more copys of the scrylands) + Simic Growth Chamber and Izzet Boilerworks for utility lands, maybe adding Sigiled Starfish for diging or Man-o'-War for some defense
August 26, 2016 5:30 p.m.
I don't really want to add more taplands to the deck and Sigiled Starfish and Man-o'-War don't count as Fish tribal.
