LOTR came out, and with that came another 2-drop creature that deals damage on each instant/sorcery cast. Which means we now have 4 of them in the pauper format... so we don't need to direct burn spells to face, we can very easily use our precious bolts for creature removal

Burn is fun, only while you have cards in your hand. Which means we need a way to keep gas in the tank and keep our enemy out there with twinkletoes. How do we do that? By drawing more cards. We don't need to read what the spell does, we just need to know that when we cast most anything our cast triggers will alert our army of pretty party poppers to propose persistent peppering until the mana runs dry, rinse, repeat.
