Titan's Strength Such a good card. Especially for 1 mana and the scry is nice. Have you ever thought about Defiant Strike for the card draw? Not that it'll matter if you get the right hand but it might help you draw an Artful Maneuver if you don't have it in the starting hand.

Zeondragon I've considered this card, though I came to the conclusion that it's not completely necessary in this deck. The deck already works fairly well.

Thanks for the suggestion anyway!

That's what I figured. Just putting it out there for that extra draw so you don't burn out.

ManGGo Kind of expensive and I'm trying to fit this into a $20 Budget deck.

I just play tested this deck IRL 9 different games. Every game except for one I found myself running into very serious mana fixing issues not drawing a single plains and not being able to cast Artful Maneuver (or any white spell for that matter). I don't know if adding more plains would help or if there is just no way to fix this without dual lands, but one thing is for sure the deck rarely works. I definitely like the idea and the potential though, so good job on that end. :]

Hey zachofpotatoes, every time I play tested this it seemed to be fine, generally wining around turns 3,4 and an occasional 5. I'm not sure if I updated the land ratio since but I'll add 1 or 2 more plains to the count. Adding duel lands would just break the budget part of it and the turn 3 win part as well.

I'd suggest something like Gods Willing or Feat of Resistance, at least in the sideboard. They do double duty, giving your guys a little evasion to get around early creatures, and keeping them alive in the face of removal spells, which wreck you right now. For that reason, I also like Lagonna-Band Trailblazer. 1 less power than your Satyr Hoplite, but it doesn't die to Bile Blight, Lightning Strike, or any number of other nasty things.

I actually built this deck and played it a few times (before the addition of Ordeal of Heliod. This is a great deck for casual and maybe even fnm. If you go to a larger tournament and play this, you will be slaughtered! It is fun to see people with expensive decks start to sweat because you are swinging for 4 by round 2 and it only gets worse as the rounds go by (9 by round 3). Overall it's a fun deck to play with at local events.

You might want to take a look at Ordeal of Purphoros at least in sideboard.

I would add Fling so that you do not acctually need to attack for a final blow to your opponent. That is a assuming you only have one opponent, but still maybe an idea. Nice deck, +1!

When Theros rotates out, might I suggest Goblin Glory Chaser, Acolyte of the Inferno, Grasp of the Hieromancer, and finally Firefiend Elemental?
