Iroas, God of Victory isn't very expensive anymore. I would run a couple because it makes all of your creatures pretty much indestructible and essential madcap skills them all. Unfortunately, this deck will most likely be picked apart by any deck running Back to Nature .

thanks for the suggestion, I was debating running Iroas but hes just way to expensive by the earliest turn i could play him I should've already secured the win if not just outright won already. and while back to nature would be annoying it only slows the deck down by a turn or two I've won many games by turn 5 without casting a single enchantment.

I ran fabled hero for a while, while good it just didn't pull it's weight, I replaced it with soldier of the pantheons and and now im testing out the hero of iroas'.

hey cool, I made this deck months ago. You don't know Rabble Red, clearly you are not a pro then or anywhere near competitive. I bet you only go to gamedays because they are free, and you are cheap? piss off kid, not only do you copy a persons' deck, don't lie, you did, you also brag about gameday which in fact now that I think about it, you probably didn't even go, too many lie on this site just to get their precious +1s because they feel, they are liked, when in reality you are just another awkward zit faced nerd.

What if I told you some people play with a limited budget,. The whole MTG community is nice, and you're like the only one who starts insulting people because you pretend that someone is lying. He only wanted to share his deck. Also I went on your profile and your decks that are supposedly "home brewed" suck.

By the way this is not Rabble Red at all you dick. Get over it, you don't know anything about magic.

100 dollars for the deck is definitely budget when we're talking about competetive magic.

Do you have a link so we can see you actually did win at gameday? So far from what I have experienced I have come across a lot of braggerts on here that just want people to see their "cool" deck. How often does this work for you? 20% of the time? the statistical odds on a one hit wonder like this do not match up. (I mean no offense, just kinda gotta take what people say on here for face value and not truth)

no offense taken, and I know the turn three win seems gimmicky because it is, but the rest of the deck is still ridiculously fast, I won most games on turn 4

Swap out ordeal of heliod for ordeal of purphoros. more damage dealt that way if you dont kill them on turn 4 like you say, you kill em on turn 5.

yep ordeal of purph probly would've been better, I just wanted the heliods because a lot of my meta consists of aggro and gaining ten life shut them down long enough for me to smash in for a win, although i never did have that problem during the gameday.

thanks, man! and yeah I normally play edh and modern but I decided to build heroic just because I like the fact that even when a spell gets countered they still get the +1/+1 counters on them, and it's super funny when people don't realize that and call a judge haha.

Until this deck runs Hammerhand no approval from me. The Hammer is real people!

August 14, 2014 2:59 p.m.

jstamp says... #17

hammerhand would only help me turn one, generally my creatures dont get killed until they hit once because people dont realize they'll be hitting for like fifteen haha, and when they do hit it generally puts them in range of a boros charm.

Not sure you understand the full potential, that is, Hammerhand . It is just amazing.

yeah it would be pretty damn good, especially with madcap skills haha. I just don't see what I wouldve taken out, everything in the deck serves a damn important purpose so theres not really room, It would deffinitely do work though.

I have a similar build to this one, and it is really that fast. I don't use madcap skills, but I can easily and consistently get turn 4 kills, and turn 5 kills are expected. The game can go longer than that, but each turn past 5 reduces the likelihood of a win significantly. Also I use cavalry pegasus for some nice team evasion.

100$ is not budget. Its the sacred foundries that drive the price way up. Competitve budget at your LGS does not constitue 100$, it should be no more than 60$. now as on the decklist, amazing this is a superb aggro that I like. +1 upvote and thumbs up for an awesome deck.

All these people who keep commenting that this is not budget really need to go find something else to do, because while they are still offering praise, they seem to forget that most "budget lists" are considered budget based on the value of cards in the game, and while some of these people are probably quite down on hard times and see 100$ as a lot, it really is not. And on MTGO this is even cheaper.

thank you stemii, yeah it's really confusing me, I mainly play modern where 200 is considered an extremely low budget so i didnt even try to trade for this deck at all I just went out and bought everything haha.
