There's multiple ways for this deck to win. Starting with the least exciting:

  1. Bleed the opponent to death with small poke damage. Use Contaminated Ground to slow them and/or get some free damage in, poke them hard with some Lightning Bolts, counter any funny business for more damage using using Countersquall, cast a Glimpse the Unthinkable to buff Jace's Phantasm, and while you're hitting them with that, fend off any counter attack by having Tidehollow Strix waiting to defend.

  2. Use the various forms of poke damage (fliers, instants) to activate Bloodchief Ascension and then mill the player to death (Glimpse the Unthinkable itself will 1-shot the opponent).

  3. Use Duskmantle Guildmage ability and mill the player to death. Two Glimpse the Unthinkable will kill them, although most likely you'll use some Tome Scours too and some more traditional damage from your fliers, Lightning Bolts, and Contaminated Ground s.

  4. INFINITE DAMAGE COMBO. Use either a charged up Bloodchief Ascension OR Duskmantle Guildmage's ability while you have a Mindcrank out and you win the game. Example: TURN 2 = Mindcrank, TURN 3 = DuskMantle Guildmage, TURN 4 = Activate Guildmage ability and cast a Tome Scour. Game over.
