Deus of Calamity fits the finisher bill you were asking for, plus some good LD thrown in.

Deus of Calamity is hard to pull off I've found with using Darksteel Citadel and Ghost Quarter . Especially if I use bust in Boom/Bust If I was after more creatures I would put in more Shivan Wumpus 's I think

Deus of Calamity and Ember Swallower are both good in this deck. Large beaters with added land killing is pretty strong, and they give you more win conditions. Spirit Guide and Fulminator pretty much just get sacrificed and Wumpus can get put back on top of your library for many turns in a row. Also, Peak Eruption would be a good sideboard card, you could cut an AEther Membrane or two and mainboard some of the Roiling Terrain .

Anyway, +1 for an awesome, effective deck!

This is really cool... sorry, really cruel.

I like this. Hope this +1 makes up for nobody ever wanting to play against you again!

Have you thought about Peak Eruption against Mono-Red?

drop the talisman, you really dont need it

Avalanche Riders could be great. It hits basic lands and can swing the turn it hits the board.

Is Dingus Egg modern legal? Maybe you could run some Lightning Bolt s to get rid of creatures? I would definitely run at least three Roiling Terrain ! I think there was one future sight creature where his power and toughness are equal to the number of nonbasic lands in your opponent's graveyard and he had suspend X and he blew up lands while suspended.

I agree with aeonstoremyliver - you should consider Avalanche Riders over Shivan Wumpus .

I am all in for the Ember Swallower as a finisher xD

Ember swallower will likely find a spot in the deck. I just don't know about avalanche riders... Everyone loves it. But it's echo means it's locking me down for two turns with echo for 1 land and a 2/2. If I'm not paying echo it's basically a bad roiling terrain

Also Sowing Salt and Ghost Quarter kind of work against Roiling Terrain .. I would side board it in for mono decks or for low levels of non-basics

I would either go to 25 lands, or run Faithless Looting or Reforge the Soul to get some card draw to dig for your third land. You run a ton of three drops and I got stuck on two lands a bunch when goldfishing. Plus your one drops arent really turn one or two plays so you are starting the game on turn 3 a lot (unless you get a SSG, or the Boom combo). Just some ideas, love LD +1 from me

Make your sideboard really count!
Boil
Boiling Seas
Flashfires
Avalanche Riders definitely
One more Crucible of Worlds to be sure you get it.

Boiling seas and flashfires don't really hurt me with cryoclasm's and roiling terrains in the sideboard I haven't had many games where the opponent has more than 2 plains or islands at one point.. I will keep them in mind though.... maybe its something i'll think about more if blue white becomes an issue for me.

again avalanche riders.. can someone explain to me why everyone loves it ? like I said earlier it's echo means it's locking me down for two turns with echo for 1 land destroyed and a 2/2. If I'm not paying echo it's basically a bad roiling terrain

I have to agree with you on the avalanche riders. Then again, maybe getting a 2/2 body out on the field while your opponent has no mana might be decent ? I can't really see the upside like yourself. I feel like the damage you will be doing with the rolling terrain is much more cost efficient.

What i'm wondering is why you have so many Sowing Salt ? They seem really slow compared to the Surgical Extraction . May i suggest taking 2 out for 2 Dismember s
