Use Pyre of Heroes to sacrifice
creatures in this preferred order:
Weathered Wayfarer to Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim to Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose to Orah, Skyclave Hierophant and finally up to Angel of Destiny, and return Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose from graveyard with Orah, Skyclave Hierophant's ability.
That is the preferred order in order to maximize the ability to channel Boseiju, Who Endures as soon as possible if needed.
Infinite loop with Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose.
This deck is surprisingly consistent and versatile with built in graveyard hate and creature/permanent removal (also a tiny bit of control with Sanctum Prelate). Even if you don't combo out, there's a decent amount of aggro.
Currently, I'm running shock lands because I'm a peasant.
Sideboarding:
While I thought of the meta, I also considered different deck archetypes. This may have not been the best choices fro competitive play, I think for more casual groups with more diverse lines of play, the ability to adapt to that is important for being able to put this deck away for a year or so, pull it out, and mop the floor regardless of what has happened in the meta. Containment Priest helps respond to Sneak Attack/Show and Tell/Reanimate. Vexing Bauble,Ethersworn Canonist, and Veil of Summer helps against control and storm. Pithing Needle for activated ability hate. Gaea's Blessing is there to counter things like Archive Trap (mill in general), which if ran in an opponent's deck will be a constant threat due to the amount of searching your library this deck does. Why Damnation AND Terminus? They each have a specific purpose. Damnation is for fair creature decks, and Terminus is for decks with indestructible creatures.
Game 1: If on the play, hopefully you have Thoughtseize in hand. If on the draw, hopefully you have Gemstone Caverns. Those are also the highest priority to sideboard out for game 2 (and 3), pending if you go first or not. Bolas's Citadel most likely will get boarded out for follow up games as well, since it is generally too slow for this deck/legacy. It's really just there for extra fun plays in the late game, popping off and playing your entire deck. Game 1 is always a crapshoot and meant for gaining information anyway.
