Have you considered replacing Burst Lightning with Thunderous Wrath , since you only running one, the chances of not hitting the miracle cost is highly unlikely

Thanks PrecintSix6Six! Yeah, but it never really is an issue. I have more fetches because they help so much with Bloodghast . It's not too often I'm unable to use a fetch.

I suppose I could and likely would change the manabase for Modern. This was the manabase when Zendikar was Standard.

You should consider Olivia Voldaren and Captivating Vampire . They are SUPER fun to run, especially against aggro decks with fatties. "Well, it looks like your Hooded Hydra is now a 5/5 Vampire Snake Hydra, who's also MY friend." sticks out toungue

Here's my vampire deck I've been running for awhile. Good ol' Vamps It's a little slow, but my meta is usually a game of 3 or more players, so i have the time. Its hard to beat a round one NightHawk with Dark Ritual though! I love how fast yours looks and will have to make a sideboard to speed up mine a bit. +1

Vampires are so fun and fast. Very self-destructive too sometimes, but I like that style of play. Nice list you got there!

I used to run Ritual, it was great with Bloodchief Ascension and some mill. Paired it with Tidehollow Strix . That was my first deck I think, fun stuff!

This list is still in the old Standard format. I might change it for Modern, but it's so fun to play as is. Fun to take on other Standard lists from different sets with it.
