I've definitely considered a Kolaghan's Command in place of a Rakdos Charm, but I haven't tested it yet. I don't dislike the card, but I'm not sure what it could replace other than the charm. What matchups do you feel it shines in? Thanks

Rakdos Charm is amazing against several matchups; it can give you an easy win against living end game 1, or in a snapcaster mirror match to erase opponent's graveyards, or even against twin pinging opponents for infinite Deciever Exarch. the reason i like Kolaghan's Command is because it functions the same as Rakdos Charm against affinity, and in your deck can give you back a creature as part of your combo. at the same time you can incidentally disrupt opponent's hands, or use it to kill any X/2. snapcasting a k command is just such value imo

it works counter intuitively to tasigur, so maybe try brewing with none of him if you decide to go that way. imo thats fine because delve also works against snaps and i dont think snaps should leave the deck

I think my big problem with Kolaghan's Command is that Rakdos Charm does more work across more matchups. If my Affinity matchup was bad enough, I'd want to dedicate a couple SB slots specifically for it (in which case I'd be using Shatterstorm or Vandalblast or whatever), but it's really not that bad.

I view the modes like this: The discard effect is meh to me (the first Liliana activation is rarely that painful :P); the shock would be busted if you could split the damage, but not being able to makes it only decent; Returning a Snapcaster or Tasigur to my hand is great in the late-game; Destroying an artifact is either incredibly useful or completely blank.

So all-in-all, it feels like the kind of card you want to play in multiples and when you want the game to go long. A midrange/control strategy could probably make great use of it (I might try my hand at making a grixis delver list that runs it). It's definitely too situational for my mainboard (imo), and I can't think of any specific matchup where this card is going to be nuts. If you can think of any matchup where the card is great, I'd love to hear it. When it was first spoiled, I was sure it was going to find a slot, but I just can't find a reason to play it (yet?). Sorry for the wall of text. :P

All fair reasons and well thought out, it is indeed seeing a little play in grixis delver; i obviously love Rakdos Charm it is too good against many matchups, but if you find your meta heavy on the rock i think that getting back a Deceiver Exarch + Pestermite that was seized away is well worth it game 1. All in all its meta dependent i suppose, but i do like this deck a lot; if i pull enough value pieces from my mm15 box i might just make this deck

Thanks! It's a ton of fun to play. Hopefully, I'll have more sideboarding advice written out soon.
