instead of cutting costs down add mana ramp to the deck, like Talisman of Indulgence , or Rakdos Signet

Yeah, those should probably go in too, but I was meaning money cost. This is almost $1000 lol.

Ogre Slumlord would be fun here, he makes more dudes to kill as you kill the other ones.

Good idea. He'll probably replace Pack Rat . Thanks!

Reassembling Skeleton and Tenacious Dead are also really good "reusers" with the skeletons a bit better at it. I'm building something really similar.

You know almost 700 dollars of the cost is due to Imperial Seal right? :P

AnotherSteve, good suggestions. I think Corpse Harvester and Reassembling Skeleton would work the best.

Spootyone, it's that much?! I knew it was expensive, but I was thinking like $300-400 expensive! That's crazy.

Thanks guys!

Well, I was referring to you mentioning that the deck "costs" ~1000 (due to the pricing at the right). I think the card can be found in various places for like 400 perhaps.

But if we're basing it off of the right-side costs and, therefore, tcgplayer...yeah, it's 'spensive d00d haha.

Still, $400 is still waaaaaay too much for me to be paying for it. Stupid Portal series and their inflated prices. They should reprint it to lower the costs.

Well, a number of P3K was in C13 so they tried lol. I think it's at a point that doing so would be mean to the collector's. Sort of like reprinting the power 9 but on a lesser scale.

Nice article, nice deck.
I'm surprised not to see Skullclamp in here, though.

Have you considered Squee, Goblin Nabob ?

GoldGhost012 says... #15

Thanks Darkness1835. Skullclamp never occurred to me before. I'll think about it, it like an interesting fit.

Dekord, I was going to put him in from the very beginning... and then promptly forgot lol. Thanks for reminding me.

Maybe it's pure nostalgia, but what about Lyzolda, the Blood Witch ?

December 6, 2013 12:21 a.m.

GoldGhost012 says... #17

It appears I never noticed your comment TexasDice, sorry.

Lyzolda, the Blood Witch is a very good sacker, but I prefer Tymaret to her. I could include her in the mainboard, but I feel Tymaret is an all-around better sacker because he come out earlier, and is reusable without paying Commander tax.

Thanks for the comment and suggestion!

Oh no problem, I thought as much. Lyzolda does depend a lot on having red and black fodder, while Tyramet will always shoot damage, if needed. She IS really bonkers in Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeper though...

Anyway, I hope that deck of yours is still working out!

You sir, need a Heartstone .

December 26, 2013 11:33 p.m.

GoldGhost012 says... #20

Heartstone only works with 3 of my creatures- 2 if Erebos, God of the Dead isn't a creature. Even when Tymaret's on the battlefield a lot, it might actually help my opponents more than me.
