Hello and Welcome to the Primer for Tymna/Kodama NecroHulk! Before we continue you need to ask yourself these three questions:

  1. Do I care about my playgroup/friends having fun?

  2. Do I prefer a linear deck that is all-in on one strategy?

  3. Do I think Root Maze is a mean card?

If you answered Yes to any of the above questions. This deck is most likely not going to be your cup of tea but if you said No, I like long games, watching the world burn and my friends brows furrow you’ve come to the right place.

The Deck’s Objective:

The main game plan of this deck is to use Entomb + Necromancy Using Entomb you fetch your goodest boy Protean Hulk and use the necromancy at flash speed to return him to the battlefield. Since you used necromancy at flash speed it will cause necromancy to fall off the hulk causing the hulk to sacrifice. This combo used at an end step will kill your protean hulk and allow you to begin chaining hulk piles and win at instant speed at anyone’s endstep. Add a sac outlet to the mix and you are able to win at “true” instant speed. (Not waiting for an endstep.) While we look for those pieces to combo, the deck focuses on slowing the game down and policing our opponents until we are ready.
