Maybeboard

Creature (1)

Maybe mono blue has a better mix of options than just raw control. Seen a few different attempts at more midrange or tempo options. Felt like tinkering a bit.

I think I've mostly landed on a Eluge, the Shoreless Sea - Duelist of the Mind - Proft's Eidetic Memory shell.

Eluge flooding lands makes tempo/control cards easier to time and cast. Stuff like Into the Flood Maw or Three Steps Ahead or Shore Up or a sneaky Blue Sun's Twilight. Lots of options like this. See Double looks fun. All the spells help make Eddymurk Crab more viable and pretty threatening.

Memory converting card draws into extra attack power doubles up on Duelist's natural draw-to-power ability, and large card draw effects like Flow of Knowledge or Season of Weaving or even Step Between Worlds makes monored aggro buffs look weak for roughly the same mana cost (usually you get the Eluge discount). Ingenious Prodigy and Teferi, Temporal Pilgrim love the extra card draw and can pitch in some themselves.

Like don't sleep on an opponent having Duelist and Memory in play. Casting a Step Between Worlds draw 7 cards pushing Duelist up to 8 power, and then gets 8 +1/+1 from Memory on the attack phase. That's usually a win out of nowhere if you're sleeping. That's not the kind of wincon you usually expect with a control-ish monoblue deck.
