Why do you need prophet? Try Remand, Mana Leak, and/or Spell Snare in its place. Also, maybe more Chokes would be good. Also, remove many of your islands/breeding pools for Yavimaya Coast and/or more harbors.

This is neat, island-flood delver, sort of a turbo Stasis for modern. I like how Noble Hierarch serves double duty as mana advantage with Choke online plus pump for Delver.

Quicksilver Fountain for floodz and then you sac it to Core before it undoes itself. Hah!

I'm no modern maven, but might you need a couple more wincons?

Agree with Scorprix, you should minimize your own island count--keep that Choke one-sided :)

Scorprix&MinscAndBoo thank you so much! i agree i should maintain a more aggro game plan with non islands g/u producing lands what do you think about Mana Confluence on board? after the fountain is out its simply a Island but early turns its able to provide what ever mana necessary... added Quirion Dryad as another means of quick damage.

What about Tarmogoyf?

should i keep Path to Exile? or go back to Dismember?

I feel like having only two fetch targets, but four fetches can be problematic. Maybe another Quirion Dryad could help? I'm seeing trouble against aggro, maybe splash red for Pyroclasm and the like?

+1

Does Quicksilver Fountain's effect go away when the fountain goes away?

12/1/2004 The land stays an Island until the flood counter is removed, even if Quicksilver Fountain leaves the battlefield.

Sea's Claim might be better than Aquitect's Will because it makes the land only an island.

Scorprix says... #17

Crap, Nef's right...

Welp, I guess you should make the switch.

Nef good call i had considered sea's claim but was attempting to stay within the "Delver" ideal ratio... but i feel the build traveling farther from that and I'm wondering if i should work in more scry to help my ability to flip delver consistently... possibly including Noxious Revival to move something to deck to in rest to delvers check? what do you think?

Nef says... #20

Mmmm Noxious Revival.... :) One of my favorite cards.

Notifications = death... Sorry for not answering earlier.

Anyhow, damn son. This is actually similar to another deck that I just commented on... coincidence???? First of all, TUTORS!!! Idyllic Tutor gets Choke and your island-making enchantements. Besides that, I would be careful about win-cons. While your opponent will certainly be paralyzed by Choke, it's very vulnerable to discard, destruction, etc... I would maybe get some Boomerang-type cards, maybe some more Paths, basically whatever you need to keep them off balance while you swing for the win. They may be paralyzed, but by the time you get your lockdown going, they will certainly have some board position that you will need to deal with.

FAMOUSWATERMELON no worries i do appreciate you stoping by i was hoping this was a fairly fresh idea. I may take out a few copies of choke as its redundant and dosnt flip delver i had considered idyllic and will play test some in the 60. i had considered Frost Titan as a possible wincon. What do you think about Cyclonic Rift or Whelming Wave?

May 25, 2015 10:55 a.m.

Frost Titan actually seems pretty fun as a one-of, but you also have a very low land count... Cyclonic Rift definitely works as well, but Whelming Wave also bounces your finishers, so not quite sure about that.

figured unlike my opponent id most likely be able to recast my fist full of creatures. but id loose counters on the dryads... so nope to whelming wave... hmmm.

Wow, this is looking good! Nice brainstorm you guys. (Speaking of which, that would be a nice card to have in Modern...)
