yea i was trying to cut the deck in size and for land and figured out of the high drops that i had, he wasn't the best of them. I felt like i had to lower my curve a bit. and i just couldn't draw the right kill spells at the right time

Why has no one suggested Undead Alchemist it's a great card for mill, and if you mill a creature at all, you get a creature on your side of the field.

Here are my suggestions:

-2 SpellskiteMTG Card: Spellskite (sideboard card at best)

-1 DivinationMTG Card: Divination (too slow)

-1 Unburial RitesMTG Card: Unburial Rites (can't use the flashback)

-2 Gitaxian ProbeMTG Card: Gitaxian Probe (not related to your gameplan)

-2 CancelMTG Card: Cancel (inferior)

-2 Surgical ExtractionMTG Card: Surgical Extraction (move to sideboard)

+3 Lands (whichever ones you want)

+2 Forbidden AlchemyMTG Card: Forbidden Alchemy (best digging spell)

+2 DissipateMTG Card: Dissipate (better than CancelMTG Card: Cancel)

+3 DespiseMTG Card: Despise (helps against hexproof creatures)

And of course Snapcaster MageMTG Card: Snapcaster Mage belongs in any UB Control, if you can get a hold of him. At least 2 copies would be good..

I choose CancelMTG Card: Cancel over DissipateMTG Card: Dissipate because of the main board surgicals

you know what i would do to alter this deckadd sorin's vengeance: 7 mana to deal 10 damage and gain 10 life is very worth it, especially in a meta filled with aggro where life gain is necessary. you can always flash it back with snapcaster and i always found that to be an amazing combobloodline keepers: it gives you early game support and it being, a vampire lord that produces tokens, you can produce blockers against aggro decksDissipate: especially with creatures in the red aggro decks like chandra's phoenix, those kind of cards want to be exiled. spellskite and surgical extraction: mainboard? lol...those are board pieces at bestdual lands: you need a play set of oeach dual land, you can't properly mana fix with your mana base right nowdivination: being sorcery speed, definately not the best card for youcreatures: too heavy creature based, this deck is too slow. you'r gonna get outraced. why do you have a sword? O.ogitaxian probe: no, its not what you need for the playing style your going for.

I agree with the folks above, there many stronger versions of what you running out there.

Having said that how does Cancel help with Suggical Extraction? Chances are your opponent will not be playing Cancel but one of the better versions above have mentioned. If they are running Cancels you'll be able to remove them after their first counter.

The folks above have some good ideas, make some proxies and see what is working best for you. Ya might be surprised at what works better for you. Don't be afraid to go back either, not all ideas will work out.

Yea I meant like I'll cancel what I don't want to see and then extract it so I won't have to see it again. But I took this deck apart to make the ester deck I have posted. That one has been going through a lot of changes trying to figure out what is best
