Mage-Ring Network as a one of gives us the ability to store unused mana to either ramp up quicker or cast late game spells with more efficiency such as Clash of Wills.
Hedron Archive lets us ramp up to our higher casting cost spells. It also give us the ability to draw two cards when needed and after being cast leaves us with two colorless mana available. This synergizes well with Clash of Wills, Spatial Contortion, Spell Shrivel and Languish.
Included in the list is 8 counter, 5 mass removal and 4 spot removal spells to control the early/mid game.
There are also 10 creatures in total. All 10 creatures have a toughness greater than 4 helping us keep them around post Languish. The 4x Reality Smasher give us a beefy thread at 5 mana but also can be used on defense if needed. If an opponent is trying to remove it, the Smasher gives us virtual card advantage then. (It is very well positioned against Declaration in Stone right now. Opponent discards a card and you get a Clue... Sure!) It is also synergizes well with counter magic. (Opponent targets the Smasher, trigger, discard a card? Okay. After opponent discards a card, counter spell. Yes Please!!!) There are also 4x Drowner of Hope which can also give us another avenue to ramp up faster. It provides us with Scion blockers as well as can be used to tap down creatures with the Drowner's ability. The last creature is Kozilek, the Great Distortion. This guy is a beast in the form of a 12/12 fatty with Menace that replenishes our hand and can counter spells on demand with his activated ability. Since we have a nice curve from 1 to 6 mana we have options late game in regards to counter-ability.
The last 4 cards are planeswalkers. 2x Jace, Unraveler of Secrets and 2x Ob Nixilis Reignited. Both give us card draw, both can stop creature based threats and both have game devastating ultimates.
