Here's a novel idea, why not take the mono U and mono B devotion decks... and cram them together!

Creature base is predominantly blue, save for the single LB Zombie and the Pack Rats, Nightveil still being a very easy T3 play. Between Underworld Connections, Bident of Thassa and Jace, Architect of Thought card draw comes fairly easy, supported by Divination and the enchantment ability from Thassa, God of the Sea.

Hidden Strings with the above is a veritable goldmine... Cipher Strings on to literally anything, and use Thassa to punch it thru. Then stack the Bident trigger above Hidden Strings so you draw first, then know which lands or creatures to untap for countermagic, 2nd main disruption, or something like Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx into Master of Waves for anywhere from 4 to 10 or more. Nykthos on the board pre-combat makes for ridiculous swings with Thassa, or drawing into multiple Masters to just destroy the board. Swap Cyclonic Rift out for Disperse in matches where i need to protect the Master, or shenanigans with toggling Thassa online. Mutavault being both a Rat and and Elemental is also super relevant.

3 vaults and 2 nykthos is a little tight, but the low chance of drawing doubles is totally worth the payoff when you hit with a couple strings and dump a pair of masters second main game two with dispel up to counter counters against the mirror or U/W.
