Nephalia DrownyardMTG Card: Nephalia Drownyard is so slow, as is Jace, Memory AdeptMTG Card: Jace, Memory Adept, you might look at this deck: deck:maniacal-fortress for some ideas to speed up your 'Mill' strategy.

I don't think they're necessarily slow. They just take a while to get going well. At least Jace, Memory AdeptMTG Card: Jace, Memory Adept can hammer for 10 immediately. I don't see any reason to remove Nephalia DrownyardMTG Card: Nephalia Drownyard unless the mana curve is too screwed up. [Jace, Memory Adept]] has been my most effective milling tool in the deck when combo'd with Increasing ConfusionMTG Card: Increasing Confusion. However, I took a look at your deck. It seems you view Jace's ErasureMTG Card: Jace's Erasure and Curse of the Bloody TomeMTG Card: Curse of the Bloody Tome as effecting ways to mill. I had those in originally. I won't use Curse of the Bloody TomeMTG Card: Curse of the Bloody Tome because of the mana cost. I can't afford another 3 drop that is only gonna mill 2. So I'm opting for Jace's ArchivistMTG Card: Jace's Archivist so I can get through my deck faster and mill them with a Jace's ErasureMTG Card: Jace's Erasure combo.

It cost three mills two every turn if you put two or three on them that's six mills a turn, in a control deck that is perfect, Jace's ArchivistMTG Card: Jace's Archivist is an excellent card. Jace's ErasureMTG Card: Jace's Erasure is perfect for Blue with all it's Draw capability, especially the card Thought ScourMTG Card: Thought Scour.

Yes I completely agree. The only thing is that adding Curse of the Bloody TomeMTG Card: Curse of the Bloody Tome would cut down on my control. At least If I can focus on milling via Jace's ErasureMTG Card: Jace's Erasure I can keep the deck unified. That being said, should I swap PonderMTG Card: Ponder with Thought ScourMTG Card: Thought Scour? Or find a way to just add Thought ScourMTG Card: Thought Scour while keeping PonderMTG Card: Ponder for even more draw/mill capability? If so, what do you suggest I remove for it?

Effen hell, that is a hard question! PonderMTG Card: Ponder, a perfect card. v.s Thought ScourMTG Card: Thought Scour a perfect card for mill. That's tough, I can't decide.

I was mistaken when I said, "slow, as is Jace, Memory AdeptMTG Card: Jace, Memory Adept" I was thinking Jace, the Mind SculptorMTG Card: Jace, the Mind Sculptor, my bad.

Lmao precisely. PonderMTG Card: Ponder get's effectively through my deck, setting up my next two turns. Thought ScourMTG Card: Thought Scour helps mill effectively while helping me gain more access to my deck.

I guess I should look at what I can take out to fit both?

It's all good brosky. No worries :)

I like this deck, I'm trying to be more of a miller. I don't want or expect to take down 20 life from my opponent. I'll think about your deck. Very nice.

Yeah I get what you're saying. That's why I'm going mill control. Allows me to stay alive long enough to mill. I don't have the option to kill my opponent here unless I draw all my token nabbers. But they're just there to chump block. But thanks! :D
