I had a The Key to the Vault scam deck a while ago. Fun, but really inconsistent. But recently I realized Satoru Umezawa fits in too.
With the Key, you need to get damage through, and I was relying on curving cheap blue fliers like Spyglass Siren and Harrier Strix to get that Key trigger in.
But if those fliers get through, and I have Satoru on the field, I can just Ninjutsu out a big creature from your hand too. It's like a plan b if I don't draw the Key in the first place.
So for payoffs you have the usual things like Atraxa, Grand Unifier and Vein Ripper. I'm fond of things like Lord Xander, the Collector, Toxrill, the Corrosive, Hullbreaker Horror and Olivia, Crimson Bride.
I have some big non-creatures (Satoru doesn't work for them but the Key does). Portal to Phyrexia and Virtue of Persistence. Consuming Tide can pitch in some for defense.
Tinybones, the Pickpocket and Ingenious Prodigy are also attackers that might get through unblocked. Tinybones deathtouch isn't something opponents like to block and can maybe steal an opponent card. Prodigy helps you draw extra cards and attacking for 0 with Skulk is something Satoru approves of. Lost Jitte has some sneaky combo play with unblocked creatures, and especially keeping the Prodigy fueled for more cards.
I put the Nexus of Becoming in there, but on second thought maybe it's just wrong. This could be anything really. Another Atraxa or something else big, doesn't even have to be in Dimir colors.
