New to magic, attended a few drafts. I built this with what I've been lucky enough to get from those drafts! I'm open to any substitutions that are budget friendly. Out of price range includes things like the Liliana planeswalkers, despite seeing how amazing they'd be in place of parts of this deck!

This deck has a card I was given, Diregraf Captain, that I do not believe is in standard. However my group of friends allows it because their decks are rather powerful and it's a step towards an equal playing field. In a FNM setting I'd trade for or buy more Lord of the Accursed since I only have one of those.

One conflict is things like Essence Scatter versus black removal that exiles. I am thinking I want to avoid exiling for the most part, given The Scarab God. I do happen to have a Nissa, Steward of the Elements and could dip into green in this for purpose of mana ramp, but I couldn't figure out a way to make it work well so abandoned the idea.
