I just bought Yidris and was thinking of mixing with my Tribal Intet deck, but now idt it's a possibility. If anyone can check it out and let me know if it'll work please tell me!

Awesome deck, but who needs spells when you can have big creatures :D +1 for the deck it's still really cool.

@SinsOfAKiller1 Apparently I'm going for about a dozen creatures that actually get good beats in. It's very low; I'll admit.

My decks with epic creatures are Animar and Rashmi. I love grixis, and with this I wanted it to feel grixis-green. Hyper control with ramp to get it online.

Once yidris was spoiled and swapped it to combat based I've lost a lot of the control aspect. Counterspell is, after all, a dead cascade. The number of creatures is pretty much the same.

I might take out Damia, Sage of Stone for either Sword of Fire and Ice or Thrasios, Triton Hero... then maybe Sheoldred, Whispering One, Curse of the Swine, and Sylvan Scrying for the other three signets. That too much ramp??

I can tell you right now that adding black to Intet, the Dreamer would be a massive flavor win. Bladewing the Risen, Crosis, the Purger, Prossh, Skyraider of Kher, Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund, maybe even Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon. Lots of /x dragons. Lots of high cmc bangers

It would be punnier if you named it URBG.

I'm looking for a big green body since I don't have Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger. Didn't like Avenger of Zendikar or Terastodon. What do you think about Stonehoof Chieftain?

I think that counterspells are bad with Yidris. I removed then from my deck. Also, i start to believe that mana rocks are bad. Except Sol Ring and Chromatic Lantern. Casting something big just to cascade into a two cmc mana rock kinda sucks. I know we need mana fixing but could we just add more lands in the place of mana rocks or something like that?

@danzors, Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger is a bit on the pricey side. I do see potential in Stonehoof Chieftain. I really like that it makes your other attacking creatures indestructible (then go for the boardwipe second main phase!)

I like Woodfall Primus a bunch, but he's still expensive. Archetype of Endurance is another popular card. Do you run Duplicant or Phyrexian Ingester? I love cards that interact before they even attack so you can get value out of them before they get exiled/destroyed

I also agree that Counterspells suck when you cascade into them. Very frustrating. I keep almost taking them out but my playgroup is decently competitive and I need answers if they go to combo off, or if they try to interrupt my combos. I'm torn on this one.

I'm shooting for a consistent turn 2-3 yidris; which is why I'm running 20+ pieces of ramp and fixing. It's extremely excessive, but I don't mind cascading into ramp if it gives me the chance to potentially cast more spells. The worst would be cascading into one of the signets without the extra mana to use it

I'm looking to add my maybeboard to the mainboard. What do you guys think I should take out?

What do you mean it's huge? It is just the stock, if i may say it that way from the site. Maybe it is just your phone. Anyway, my playgroup is casual so there are no infinite stuff and we dont plan to end the game in 2-3 turns. I love counterspells, just i think they don't work here. If i were to play an other blue commander i would add this control element. Also since i removed my mana rocks except for the two i mentioned some days ago, my deck runs smoother and i get to cascade to better cards. I also run 3 wheel effects and the one i am a little scared to cascade into when i dont need it is Wheel of Fate.

If you like wheel effects; you should look into adding Leovold, Emissary of Trest (if you don't have it already). He's insanely expensive at the moment, but very powerful. All the wheels draw you a full hand and everyone else gets screwed lol

Yeah i know leovold. He is a little out of range as i just bought a new modern deck, u tron and can't spend any more money for now. Still i think one must use leovond only in a competitive playgroup. He is that powerful. Nevertheless, being the pilot using leovold would be fun as hell. :p sit back and watch everyone doing nothing! Haha

I really like your deck, but why do you play with Counterspells? IMO they aren't useful at all, specially when you casacade into one though.
