Trying to see if I can use Confirm Suspicions along with Tamiyo's Journal and Seasons Past in a slightly less efficient way than with Dark Petition and Seasons Past alone. But hey, at least you get to counter a spell out of it!

My local meta has a bunch of black control. Removal, hand disruption, board wipes etc etc. I'm going to play an empty style, basically making their removal dead in their hands, while countering or sending back whatever creatures they try to put on the board.

So stall stall stall, counter, counter, card draw/counter, then start hitting with lumbering falls and awakened lands. In the meantime you're getting up in the turns enough to do the Seasons past combo, possibly delaying the game long enough to cast Kozilek. Unless of course, your opponent's spirit is already broken by then because they can't resolve anything.

I also thought about adding cryptolith rites and some cheapo creatures, maybe Blisterpod and Eldrazi Skyspawner just for more consistency in being able to cast counters but I'm not quite sure how to make that viable at 60 cards. I'm also having a hard time just finding the right balance of counterspells and card draw. Invasive Surgery Is nice because I can counter a turn 2 Transgress the Mind and if delirium is triggered it gets even better at stopping things like Seasons Past in the "mirror" match.
