Maybeboard

Etrata is the placeholder for Ukkima***

My wife has been picking on me for a while now about me having crutch colors. Every deck I build and brew have blue, black, or both! I decided to admit that I'm not an Orzhov mage, but rather Dimir. My problem? Milling is way too common and easy in Dimir. I was considering Etrata, but since the spoilers for C20 came out, i had to be a tool and get the commander that is my favorite animal! I wanted to find ways to utilize Ukkima's abilities. Being an unblockable creature is already scary enough. The trick is finding valuable cards to decrease the amount of time my opponent has before they need to answer my board state. The best that i was able to find were equipment cards. Along with that comes a higher power to further strengthen the triggered ability.

All that being said, i have built a very fun Dimir tron deck. Being able to utilize blue to constantly draw cards and keep my hand full while using black to find specific cards, I feel that this deck can get brutal, quickly. By no means do I believe that this deck is competitive. However, I do believe it has the potential to challenge most playgroups.

I'm looking for a bit of help with this one. The only other tron deck I've ever built was Akiri. Let's be honest about how easy a Boros tron deck is real quick. The reason I'm struggling is because more often than not when I'm running Dimir in a deck, I'm using those colors for draw power or to set up big turns that involve storm. At heart, I love manipulating the stack. Not to be confused with STAX. I'm trying to avoid creatures if I can. I included everything that I believe to be the 'staples' from each of the colors.

Any constructive criticism is helpful!
