Like Justa said, I'd try to fit some removal into here, you've got nothing to really handle big threats except for maybe Vampire Nighthawk . If I were you I'd try to make room for a few Murder or even Oblivion Ring . O Ring and Blind Obedience work perfectly with Ethereal Armor.
Also, I feel Vizkopa Guildmage was made to be put in an extort deck.

Those are good suggestions I will definitely sideboard some against aggro

Needs more removal. I would cut Ethereal Armor for some Devour Flesh , Tragic Slip , etc. Murder , being more expensive, is less extortable.

Ok so I actually did add more oblivion rings for removal. It also synergizes well with Ethereal Armor . Not adding any other kill spells that's enough for now. I know the less they cost the more I will get to use extort. But the one extra cmc adds the usability and synergy the deck needs.

This is a really cool deck. Orzhov is actually one of my favorite guilds. Extort is great for annoying the enemy, especially with lifelink. I don't know how much you like infinite combos, but Vizkopa Guildmage should go in no matter what and her second ability along with Exquisite Blood equals win. This is also really easy to activate with extort and with Crypt Ghast the five mana cost would not be such a big deal. The combo is also not technically infinite, but it does win the game, which I had verified with Wizards of the coast. +1

And one more combination to consider. Use High Priest of Penance in combination with Ring of Thune . The ring pumps him up and even gives him vigilance. The opponent won't want to block because he'll destroy one of their creatures and then he can block, too. He also forces the opponent to use their removal on him instead of your more important creatures.

I didn't even think of that. I always thought High Priest of Penance was a shit card, but pairing him with Ring of Thune is definitely a win.
I'd take out one Blind Obedience and put in an Exquisite Blood , that'd be some serious life gain. Also, I don't see the point of Pontiff of Blight considering most of your creatures have extort already. I'd take him out for Deathpact Angel , not really for extort but because it'd be nice to have a random, heavy hitter. If you're not annoying them with the High Priest, then you're annoying them with the Angel. I'm not sure it'd be very advisable but that's how I play, haha. Giving this deck a +1 though, it sold me on the extort mechanic.

Pontiff of Blight can give the creatures with extort already 2 instances of extort. meaning i can use it twice per extort creature when he is out

Wow I didn't know it stacks. Yeah definitely keep him in then haha.

Well, I think your deck is pretty good. I would only remove your 3 Syndic of Tithes for 3 Basilica Screecher . It would give you more evasion and a better synergy with Ring of Xathrid . And you already know it..., but 4 Isolated Chapel would be a great addition too.
In one of my tests, Tithe Drinker with Ring of Xathrid just destroyed my aggro deck.
Nice deck, +1

In fact, there was also an Ethereal Armor on your Tithe Drinker .
I also think that a forth Basilica Screecher would be a good addition if you remove just one Ring of Xathrid for it. The ring is often good, but having to much in hand can become a problem, especially when you already have one or more armor too. Most of the games I lost with your deck while testing it where because I had to much rings and armors in hand and too few creatures.

In my point of view, no. Kingpin's Pet is coming on the battlefield one turn later for only +1/+0, it would break your nice mana curve and it's harder to extort.
But most of all, your vampires will prefer the bats... lol

Do you think Pontiff is all that great since 99% of your creatures have extort? maybe trade him in for Obzedat, Ghost Council cheaper and might be more useful.
May 1, 2013 5:01 p.m.
.... he gives extort to them too. the ones who have extort already have 2 instances. read the card and the other comment I posted explaining this and the description of my deck. Double extort on my creatures.

Have you considered swapping the Ring of Xathrid for Skeletal Grimace ? It may not give you the same incremental boost but does provide a cheaper regeneration and pumps up Ethereal Armor .
May 2, 2013 2:13 a.m.
that is a sound suggestion. Another benefit to using Skeletal Grimace is that it also takes less to set up saving more mana for extort. However, i feel the incrimental benefits of Ring of Xathrid outweighs Skeletal Grimace and heres why.
by relying too heavily on enchantments it ups the chances of someone having an answer for it. By throwing in an artifact it will throw off that chance.
When you do manage to get rid of the enchanted creature the enchantment goes too. The ring however would stay.
The incrimental buffs on the ring could potentially prove stronger than the buffs on Ethereal Armor . Especially on something like Tithe Drinker Vampire Nighthawk and High Priest of Penance
May 2, 2013 2:23 a.m.
The only thing I can find to suggest is another enchanment over Ring of Xathrid . Everything else looks nice! +1.

The problem with the double extort Pontiff trick is that while Extort stacks, you will still have to pay the 1 mana to trigger each of the Extort cases, meaning your just as well off having two creatures with extort as you are having 1 creature with double extort.
May 3, 2013 2:50 p.m.
Yes but the benefit of it means when I put it out it essential doubles the extorts I can use. Meaning if I have 3 creatures out on turn six due to a heavy removal deck, I can drop pontiff then on turn 7 I can use 7 extorts on my next spell as opposed to 4 or less if I don't have extort creatures out

Nice deck! I myself have also wanted to create a deck like this one for a while. However, I'm not totally sure how affective this would be against an aggro. To protect yourself, you have Pontiff of Blight , Basilica Guards , and Divine Deflection , but those wouldn't last forever. Try getting in some more tough creatures, and maybe evn some removal.
