This is becoming something very different than what it was.
So I'm focusing on evolving Experiment One as a chump and also Gyre Sage as a mana ramp creature while I wait for a Bear Umbra or
Murkfiend Liege
draw.
This works well because every creature except Birds of Paradise evolves Experiment One, and every other creature after that evolves Gyre Sage
Now, if you already have an evolved Experiment One or Gyre Sage in play when you play Avatar of the Resolute, he gets a +1 +1 counter. This effect stacks, so if you have both an evolved Experiment One and an evolved Gyre Sage in play, then a freshly dropped Avatar of the Resolute gets +2 +2.
Shorecrasher Mimic
will effectively evolve our mana ramp and our chump, and it also pairs perfectly with Simic Charm which will give it either a +3 +3 boost or hexproof when it attacks as a 5/3 with trample. The nice thing about this is you can declare him as an attacker and wait for your opponent to respond before you decide if you are going to buff him with +3 +3, use the hexproof, or return a card to your opponents hand giving
Shorecrasher Mimic
the trample and the buff as well.
Zameck Guildmage is effective at buffing
Shorecrasher Mimic
and also at buying you some card draws, (you can use the counters off of experiment one since they are easy to get and the next time you play a creature you will get another one,) conversely you could also distribute +1 +1 counters.
Bounding Krasis
should be self explanitory, and the untap effect can be used on a mana ramp creature to buy you enough mana to also drop a big Simic Charm after you flash in a block with the Krasis. This in turn will buff your
Shorecrasher Mimic
if it is also blocking. Potentially VERY deceptive with when its okay for your opponent to attack.
Murkfiend Liege
is the big finisher, and this is the reason why we're trying to ramp some early mana. He'll be giving all of your hybrid green/blue creatures + 2 + 2, as well as giving your
Shorecrasher Mimic
his single turn buff to 5/3, making him a temporary 7/5 with trample, and also untapping all of your creatures, (including the mana ramp creatures for that extra mana you'll need for Voidslime or Simic Charm) during your opponent's untap stap!
Even with all of this, it gets better.
If you thought untapping all of your creatures during your opponents untap step was awesome, how about ALSO UNTAPPING ALL OF YOUR LAND AFTER YOU ATTACK.
Bear Umbra
I threw in Rancor because its a GREAT way to push the tempo early.
