I'd just do Rakdos aggro, lol. I used to have a modern unleash deck using Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch and it did fairly well. Green has things like Collected Company but tri color aggro doesn't seem very efficient.

I think I'm just going to drop green and just work my way up with red and black since I'm a newbie.

Are there any good alternatives for Phurphoros?

Also Impact Tremors is a good budget alternative

You don't want Purphoros or any gods really in an aggro deck.
I have a different suggestion. Why not try goblins? The ULTIMATE Modern Goblins Primer is a great place to learn how to build a rock-solid and affordable aggro deck.

I can't pick. Impact Tremors or Death's Approach.

What do you mean by 'later on'?
Okay back up for a second. Someone needs to explain modern to you. Modern Format Primer - Banlist Update (21/10/2015) is a good place to learn about the format. In particular, read the section 'how fast is modern?'.

Go even farther back then that. Do you want this deck to win tournements or do you just want to have fun with your friends? Maybe you can have a deck for each. If you want to play competitively I suggest you change this to naya zoo. As for fun, if you want this to be the fun deck how about Sprouting Thrinax, Goblin Bushwhacker, definitely Kird Ape, Experiment One, Jund Hackblade, and Burning-Tree Emissary. I could probably think of more if you want.

Why Death's Approach instead of a kill spell like Doom Blade or Vendetta? Even an enchantment like Dead Weight may be more consistent if you want something for devotion.

wwhitegoldd is very much on the right track. This deck list isn't even close to being ready for fine tuning. It looks like a lot of fun for casual play, but if you want it to be competitive, which you may or may not, you basically need a complete rebuild. I don't see more than a dozen cards in here that I'd actually want in my final 75 for a competitive, or even semi-competitive, rakdos aggro.
Before you can get any truly meaningful deck help, you have to decide what you value in a deck and what you want to be playing. And only you can decide that.
Good luck!

Hey thanks for sending that link man. I've read most of it before except for the How fast is Modern part which was actually the crucial part. To make things clearer, the only reason why I was pushing Mogis was that someone recommended Ghor-Clan Rampager which was worth 4 mana so instead of that I figured Mogis might be a better card. And I pushed on using Death's Approach was because I already had the card. lol I know it's a lame excuse.
I will use the deck mostly for casual but like I said before I want it to be slightly competitive so when I'm ready I can take it to FNM with me. I don't really need help with every single thing just with the creatures and the competitiveness of the deck itself.

For everyone who's willing to give me a little help, thanks a lot! Since I dropped green, this will probably come out as a Rakdos Aggro deck. We can make it work with Thornbow Archer right??

I also probably need to know which cards need to go.

Those bloodfell caves hurt. A 4th Dragonskull would be great. As well as at least some Blood Crypts but they aren't very budget. I'd use Sulfurous Springs if you can get it.
Some Dismember and/or Murderous Cut? Terminate if you can afford it?

I second Blood Crypt. You can find them around six bucks on star city.
Dreadbore would be a good alternative to Terminate, and it hits walkers.

Ha. I've been looking at Terminate for a while. Murderous Cut seems to be too expensive (the mana cost). Go for the Throat seems to be it. What do you think?
demonicgrizzlyAh. Fetch lands. What are they for exactly? They just seem to ask you to pay life instead they'll come in tapped. I haven't seen that before. Thanks

demonicgrizzly says... #23
They are for color fixing. You can play the, tapped but the nice thing about the is that when you need to you can pay 2 to have them enter untapped. The best way to use them though is with fetch lands. They can be searched for by Bloodstained Mire since they actually are mountain/swamp.
So end of your opponents turn, crack the fetch, search fr blood crypt, put it into play tapped and then you untap on your own turn. You can also hold the fetch on the field until you need to crack oIt to respond to your opponents spells.

Interesting but I'll save them for my next decks. I'm looking forward to save some green on this one since I'm getting it from allowance. lol

I would advice you to read Who is the beatdown as well. You keep building decks with midrsnge spell suites and aggroish creature bases.
demonicgrizzly says... #1
I do think you need Ghor-Clan Rampager. It's too useful not to use, and an uncounterable pump (correct me if I'm wrong on that) is good and can end a game.
Also Terminate, Collected Company, Darkheart Sliver, Rakshasa Deathdealer, Ball Lightning or Groundbreaker (these two would require reworking the mana base though), or Strangleroot Geist would be good options
