On second thought maybe take out the ash zealots in my list and add in Lightning Maulers. Also, if you make gruul aggro you can upgrade it to naya aggro which is a competitive deck.

wwhitegoldd that deck looks very solid! Dryad Militant is one card you could add to that. It hates on any deck with Delve, Snapcaster Mage, and it's multicolored for Jund Hackblade. And I'd keep Ash Zealot because punishing Snapcaster Mage and Lingering Souls is important.

OK. Keep the zealots. But what would you take out for the militants?

Flame Slash. It's really sub-par in there, in my opinion. Ghor-clan and just going wide is how you beat opposing creatures. Burning your opponent's creatures is not a very good mainboard plan. Flame Slash would go great in the sideboard though.

That's not my intention man. I want to build a solid deck and upvotes will probably a good measure whether we built a good deck or not and believe me I listen man. I try to follow whatever good recommendations I get from you guys. Please don't think about it that way. I just really want to make sure that the outcome of this long journey with building a deck is worth it.

That gruul deck looks cool! I don't see much difference to my deck except for that Wild Slash though. Will add it thanks.

Definitely not. The idea is that you run so many creatures that they can't possibly remove them all. It's kinda how aggro works. Burn is different because burn is, well, burn, not RDW.

Next up on the cringe list (lol at that Lightning Strike comment): Splatter Thug. I just feel there has to be something better at that mana cost (or cheaper!).

Some good 2 drops that are comparable: Ash Zealot, Battle Brawler, maybe even Crimson Muckwader.

Searing Blood maybe? Burns off early dudes, finishes off later dudes, and bolts the player in the face. All for just . Of course, if you're just looking for super-cheap cards, Gut Shot costs nothing.
