When I first started playing, I had hated control decks quite a bit. I set out to build an aggro deck that could win quickly without being affected as much by other deck types.
The goal is to make the smaller dudes both large and unblockable, and swing in for the kill before the other player can even build a manabase.
Distortion Strike gives unblockable for two turns, and makes a dude a little bigger.
Slaughterhorn
Pumps a dude up nearly as much as giant growth, but doesn't count as a spell.
Pact of Negation allows the ability to counter things without leaving your mana open. It is no Force of Will, but it can save you when you unload your pump spells for the kill. The upkeep cost doesn't matter when you have already won.
in the maybeboard, I have Simian Spirit Guide listed. His purpose would be mainly to cast Blighted Agent a turn earlier, or to activate Inkmoth Nexus without wasting a pump spell.
This deck works best if it has Invigorate, but unfortunately it is not legal in modern. However, it does cause this deck to win on turn two frequently enough.
