Titan's Strength and Dragon Mantle Are in there as much for damage as for heroic / prowess activation.
Unfortunately, as you said Furnace Whelp is a fun card, but in this build I have no need to "buy" flying, but I would like to see this in a full dragon deck as the next rotation comes in.

@Figag Above. And Thankyou for your input. I'd better add the "budget" tag to this deck huh?

Great deck. I love the combo Break Through the Line + Prophetic Flamespeaker . Looks really strong for just ~54$. The only thing I would make different is playing 2 or 3 more mountains. Less then 22 lands can almost always result in a mana problem.

Love the use of Break Through the Line here. Abbot of Keral Keep was a great Origins card for your deck.

Furnace Whelp is a personal favorite of mine in decks life this. You can make better than furnace whelp by the looks of it, but it's one advantage is that it has a built in pump-up. You don't need to draw Titan's Strength or Dragon Mantle to make it work. It does have a high mana cost, but your deck looks like it will have the mana base to support it with it's draw power.
Good luck though. I like the idea. It's got a very good budget too.
