Sideboard

Upgraded Mystic Intellect from Commander 2019. This deck has 2 main win-cons with a self mill strategy or using Approach of the Second Sun.

The mill strategy can be done quickly with Mirror-Mad Phantasm or the Frantic Search + Underworld Breach combo with the right set up, or more slowly with Hedron Crab, Perpetual Timepiece, Chronic Flooding, Jeskai Ascendancy, Monastery Siege, or Codex Shredder.

After milling the appropriate pieces, often at least Sevinne's Reclamation, Underworld Breach, and Frantic Search, and maybe some counterspells to protect the mill, and sometimes Dockside Extortionist to obtain the necessary mana to finish the game.

With the final win-cons being protected to most removal, the main weaknesses of this deck are how to survive along the way. Pillowfort is important to keep out the pesky creatures along with sweeper for those that come through. Also, as most graveyard-oriented decks are, this deck is weak to opponents screwing with the graveyard. There are not many ways to avoid this else than counterspells in the moment. The best result to hope for is a Perpetual Timepiece to fire off to protect vital combo pieces (Most importantly, Laboratory Maniac, for which there is 4 pieces of recursion from the graveyard for) or in retrieving it from exile with Pull from Eternity, a surprising overperformer in this deck.
