Hey there. I do have to appologize because I'm not currently receiving notifications on this deck which is making life a tad difficult.
elpokitolama : I am certainly one day going to go 4-2 split on those. For right now I can't decide on which one i need to see more within a game. It's something I've neglected to think about in my play tests and I'll get on that asap. You may just be right.
My land base is super fickle. This exact arrangement has been the only one I've used that doesn't flood me out or give me incorrect mana when I've needed it. I'm very hesitant to cut any land for any reason. If I did one day cut any, the first thing I'd want is 2 Vault of the Archangel.
Bump in the Night has no use for me. I need bolts that can hit creatures too.
Many thanks for the considerations. I like that I'm not the only one debating the discard ratio.
Ryotenchi : I'm glad you see this deck to be the truth. Nay-sayers get fed to my dragons. Also much love for the play tests. That means a lot to me. Was there any card you felt underwhelming or that you wish you had access to?

The two issues I have with this deck are Strombreath and Sculler. From my experiences with BW Tokens Sculler is usually a suboptimal choice I feel for a midrange-attrition strategy, not to mention the lack of his non-creature status. Strombreath as a finisher feels dead in the opening hand and even top decking when you are stuck on 3-4 lands. I would either up the land count to 25 or simply replace him with something like Hero of Bladehold.

This isn't a token deck though. This is basically a super grindy, practically control deck that wins via tokens.
Stormbreath just happens to be a finisher. I normally wouldn't ever cast it on curve. I don't even want to have to. It gets in later game when my opponent is choked for removal. Realistically, this slot belongs to whatever hates the meta best. Bladehold could go there just fine if you wanted but with a lack of flying, abzan will become a tougher match up than it has to be. Stormbreath has flying, pro Path, and Pro lingering souls while also being bolt proof. There's not a lot of things that can straight up 1 for 1 him.
Sculler is just here because it's the best at least at what it does. It grabs a card while providing a body. Even if eats removal, it forces the opponent to at least commit removal to him rather than my pyros. If you know of something better, I'm all ears.

Just out of curiosity, is there a reason for the incomplete description?

Young Pyromancer being chosen over Monastery Mentor? Why?

Mana investment. It affects my curve too. Pyro is online by turn 3. Mentor by 4.
Pyro allows me to go
Land > discard spell > land > discard spell/sculler > land > pyro > discard or kill spell and net one token. Mentor takes that sequence a turn longer which is too long for this deck to work effectively. Also consider the opponent counters. I'd rather waste 2 mana over 3. It's all about investment

I suggest removing Blackcleave Cliffs for some basics. You are too fragile to your own Blood Moon here. And christ, 11 fetches?

Yep fucking 11 and it works somehow. Thinning the deck over time does the job. The blackcleaves help with making more hands keepable. Never once locked myself out. What else can i do? Lol

Is that alesana album any good? Only one I have by them is their 2007 On Frail Wings of vanity and wax. The song you've got up there is pretty good, is the whole album like that?

kyuuri117 yes it is. That album is about the wanderer. As far as I know there are 4 main chracters. Annabel, the wanderer, and two others i can't remember right now. I believe the story goes from the emptyness > a place where the sun is silent > the confession.
If you're into Edgar allen Poe and post hardcore you will adore these albums

I noticed that you had a pretty weak 4-drop spot, so could Brutal Hordechief be of any avail as a 1-of? With the tokens?
Ryotenchi says... #1
Man, this version is the real deal. o.o
Once yeh attrition your opponent out, Outpost Siege is just inevitability.. even hitting Lingering Souls 3 times and tons of lands.. Ended my 2 play tests with several Pyros and 5+ spirit and 2-3 elemental tokens.. All without gaining any life late game..
