Sphinx-tribal

Fact or Fiction is one of my favourite 'draw' cards in blue: getting value while letting opponents second-guess what you're doing. I had been looking for a new take on my mono-blue Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir deck, which (while strong) usually won in the same way: strangling opponents out of answers and taking over the biggest threats to win with. Then Unesh came along. It was easy enough to re-tool my Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir deck shell of the deck to take advantage of repeatable fact or fictions. After some playing and tuning I found that the sphinxes could quickly turn into an explosive draw engine providing its own army of fatties to punch through in the air. It has become more pro-active. Most of the actual card-draw in the deck got swapped for ramp to get the 'sphinxball' rolling quickly. It's definitely not the strongest deck I have, but I have so much fun with the repeatable fact or fictions.
